It was crap, the best part was I managed to get free parking. Also had more fun at a local toy shop where I built a x-wing and a Yoda from Lego plus a free ploy bag.
And to think, I was just getting ready to drop $160 on a Brick Fest Live event scheduled for Feb 2024. Thanks for saving the money on this snooze fest. I wouldn’t pay more than $10 for us to view basic displays with overpriced kits for sale.
Thanks for this video! I almost paid $80 for 2 VIP tickets for next year
Nice! Glad you found the channel! Save your money and buy a set!
I got a 5 family pack for under 60$ and I expected the lines would be long but the kids are excited to go.. thanks for the video..
The kids will have a blast! $60 for the 5 pack is a good deal - hope you guys enjoy it - let me know! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for saving me $50. I was so excited a convention was coming, my first thought seeing the video was, yeaaaaah na
Ya, sorry to crush your hopes of it - but spend the $50 on a brand new LEGO set instead. Thanks for watching!!
Yeah this is about as bad as the dinosaur adventure crap. Overpriced tickets, super long lines with lackluster activities for the kids.
@NovaHockey8 you got that right 😂 🦕
awesome video, was lots of fun...
It was pretty cool - mainly for kiddos though
Going to my first brick Fest live in Edinburgh Scotland on may the 4
Also got the VIP ticket
Let me know how you like it!
Will do

@kev1csc Yeah, it’s just not very good. I tried to wait in line to build a car to race and I gave up after 20 minutes of not even moving in line.
I'm thinking about going when they come to Peoria . By the way what are the lights behind you?
They are light panels I had someone make for me - same style as seen in Star Wars.
We are going this Saturday. I am wondering were sets offered at a discount at all? If not I'll just order direct from Lego and get my points.
Sets were definitely not discounted.
Do you still need the VIP to build bricks and what does the VIP get you
You can build without the VIP - as far as what it gets you - a special robot build, lanyard and badge, and a pin. In my opinion it’s not worth it.
My 5yr old looked at me and said is that it?? Can we go home? After 20 minutes
Oof - yeah that’s not want you want to hear - hey, we live we learn. At least we know not to go again.
Good evening Ned thought I'd drop in and say hello. Like both of your Robots...no favorite.
Thanks James!! You build legos?
@@headlessnedstark No...used to love them when I was a kid. They've come a long way since then. ✌
@@jamesbeshears6717 You got that right! And more expensive!
Lol Ned. You only do it for money. Plus all life sized creations have been everywhere. You're just a stupid kid with way too much money. Screw you

Yeah it’s unfortunate it wasn’t very good. Like I said, I’m sure kids will love it - but it’s very Meh.
I'm a Lego fan and next month there coming here and bricks and mini figs posted don't go it's an f rating event so plans gone but I see why now
@@Legostarwars2.0 we may be referencing the same event if you’re talking about Spfld MO.
Yeah, it’s not a Lego sanctioned event and basically a money grab.
Yes I am
This is stupid. A ripoff. The dude who tried to do this ripped millions of people off. I want my money back
Yeah, it definitely is not great. I won't be attending again. If I had small kids, maybe.
