As a lifelong fan of Jethro Tull , since the early 1970's , first off let me say it's rare to even find a band with even the ability to attempt Jethro Tull , due to the complexity , time signature changes , etc. Every one of these kids are very talented. Milena is especially talented on the flute , she nailed every piece. Carlo , is a phenomenal drummer. Barriemore Barlow is one of the all time great drummers , and you did remarkable work Carlo !! I saw Tull perform Brick in '72 and it was masterful. Then they did a five song encore of biggies including Aqualung and Locomotive Breath. But the fun detail of the night was before the music began there were roadies on stage in workman's overalls attending to the setup. When the arena lights came down and the stage lighting came on the "roadies" took off their overalls and it was Tull! Just as the crowd realized it and began to roar, they ripped into the first number! This Berklee group does a sublime job; kudos to them.

The most extraordinary cover of Jethro Tull I have ever seen on the Web or live anywhere.
You make a seasoned musician like me wish he had it to do over again.
Then I would attend the Berklee school of music and seek out musicians of your caliber and talent.
You make it look easy (and it's not)!
Fulfilling a dream of doing a live performance of Jethro Tull especially that album, has been my goal.
So inspired by Ian Anderson was I, that I remained a dedicated flutist to this day at age 61.
I still play his music for sidewalk cafes, coffee shops and ice cream shops for the nostalgic adults and parents who don't mind his provocative lyrics.
You really did justice to side one and side two. That refers to the days when music came on vinyl records. "Thick As a Brick"
was referred to as a concept album. That means rock artists of the day were competing to play non-stop on each side of the record to break away from the traditional way of recording music. No dead air between songs made the album go over big at
    beer and pot parties.
Aside from all that, you picked a musical genius to perform and you can take that to the bank!
    Well done Berklee!!

As a rabid Tull fan since 1972, this is absolutely incredible! Many parts sounded so like the original, I'd have been hard-pressed to tell the difference. And even doing the fade-out / fade-in for the middle of the "record". I am stunned.

WOW!!! - And I've been playing for almost 50 years... So I know greatness when I hear it! - I've seen the band "Jethro Tull" perform this song live three times (but never" "complete" like the version on this video), and other than the original band members; this is by far the best "Thick as a Brick" cover ever!
For the musician's ages and experience levels at the time, they should all be way beyond proud of themselves, especially the floutist (or "flutist" in untrained music circles) , she was beyond fantastic, and super-close to Ian Anderson himself, and that's saying a lot! 😊
(I would love to hear you all do this song now that you've all "matured more on your instruments)!

I have loved Jethro Tull since they first appeared - saw them in 1977 (Brisbane, Australia), and 1974 I took up flute - was because of Ian Anderson of course - played in local rock bands for years, in the good ol' days when pub bands made a small mint (not so now). My brother sent me this You Tube clip on Facebook, and it blows me away. What a task, learning the entire piece, brilliant musos, well recorded dynamic sound. As someone else has alluded to, so great to see a new batch of young musos appreciating this vintage music - and bringing it alive in different ways - I am a drummer from way back too, fantastic drummer on here, brilliant flautist, she did it such great justice, and a touch of her own style made it too. All good, good on you guys, would be like climbing Mount Everest learning Thick as a Brick. Made my day. Cheers from Australia. I am 68 now, and just got in another rock band after maybe 30 years away from it. Loving it again. Herewith An old clip from 1982 (me on flute & vocal for what it is worth): Keep up the good work, folks, you so picked up my day. ruclips.net/video/m0cftjdhblc/видео.html

I'm also a musician relatively familiar with their music so I know how challenging their longer pieces such as Thick as a Brick are to play. The fact that you tackled the entire album amazes me! I can’t help but think that the best part about all of this is the fact that this song is not only brilliant musically but its lyrics are all about critical thinking and if there’s anything we need from the “Oh Very Young” it’s critical thinking and great taste in music to carry us all through! We STILL need to sheath our swords and lift our pens…and our voices. This is a masterpiece indeed. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo! Spread it far and wide …and thick. Thick as a brick.

Interesting to find this. I was lucky enough to see Tull 3x in the 70s and once again on 7/5/19 in Indio CA. We even had a 7.1 Earthquake during the concert.

That's crazy about the earthquake. Did they keep playing?

This really spun me out , I found Jethro out really quite early in my life, about 1988, I love to see its a thing, that other people get.

Just found this video. Fantastic! Few groups are brave enough to cover Jethro Tull. From my first concert in 1973 (Passion Play plus side one of Thick as a Brick) to as recent as five years ago, JT never ceases to amaze and you guys nailed it. The keyboards, the flute, the guitars and, of course the drums. Amazing rendition. I found myself humming and singing along the entire forty plus minutes. Thank you guys!

I started getting Goose bumps at 20:45; entering my favorite part of the song! Brilliant rendition...Very brave to perform! We old Tull heads appreciate your magnificent performance of arguably one of the more complex songs of prog! Imitating, Barrymore, Jeffery, Ian, Martin and John Evan is something to be proud of...Sadly, too many will be "geared toward the average rather than the exceptional"~ ;(

Incredible! I never thought I'd see a full band/full cover version of this!! One problem though - the flautist is supposed to stand on one foot during the solos! ;)

Its not hard to play on one foot , (even though shes not a great flutist, but she is good ) so she deffinetelly could do this

Wow, I've been listening to Jethro Tull for over 40 years. I have never heard anyone play Jethro Tull, except Jethro Tull. The guy on vocals sounded a little flat, but that is probably because I've only have heard Ian Anderson singing this. The rest of the band played it very well. But the chick on the flute nailed it. Question, when are these guys going to do a Passion Play?

The band is terrific, Berklee School of music, what do expect. The vocalist gives it a good try, but at times he is a bit flat, other times it hits it.
