      YYYepp. I never understood why anyone would blow hot air INTO a case, ive always been a proponent of tunnel cooling, at least when using quality air tower coolers - pull fresh air in front, exhaust hot air out back and/or top, been doing it this way for 15 years never any temp problems. Ive never seen a need for the nightmare risks of watercooling, I look at it this way they cool massive servers with fans only, if water cooling made more sense they would use it. Too much risk and maintenance. JMO

    It’s always nice to see different sponsors like Corsair! lol At first when I found this channel I actually thought Linode was holding Dawid in a facility against his will. Then forcing him to make RUclips videos at gun point where he buys horrible unspeakable things on aliexpress and Craigslist …
    Dawid between videos -> “😭 pls linode let my family go how many more videos do you want?!?”
    🤣 I’m only kidding, but I do enjoy the channel and I’m thankful for all the sponsors to keep the wonderful content flowing (including linode 😌). Also I’m assuming that Dawid and his audience make up for at least 60% of sales on aliexpress and Craigslist for PC and gaming parts lmao! Nice seeing him keep a small business like aliexpress going….

    As I saw the "RGB struggle" in the title, I immediately started to think about gigabyte and their shittier than shit rgbfusion 2.0.
    I havent even seen my 3080 aorus xtreme in that software yet XD

    • @cloudy_shane
      @cloudy_shane 3 года назад +1

      Haha, the shitty gigabyte software is the exact reason why my RGB fan hub works independent of the motherboard's RGB hub. That's why my Aorus 2080 is not synchronized with the fans)))

      @@cloudy_shane haha well my pc is a chaos in terms of rgb. That's why I only use a single color and not any effects. I have nzxt, g.skill, corsair, gigabyte and asus softwares and rgbs.... Oh god.

      @@cloudy_shane and my aorus 3080 is doing the freaking default rainbow puke all the time and the stupid egg gif on the screen🤬😂 it looks so terrible, but cant do anything about it. All the old tricks that used to work for me dont work anymore.

    • @cloudy_shane
      @cloudy_shane 3 года назад

      @@RealLagu I actually like the "rainbow puke" thing, and I'm happy that my graphics card defaults to slow color cycle, but the thing is, that the motherboard's RGB controller is bad... It's not precise enough. My cheap AIGO hub does the color cycle animation A LOT smoother, and I only use that animation so this is a deal-breaker for me. And this mobo's hub also depends on the shitty software, which has to run all the time! If it doesn't, all the RGB shenanigans just freeze... Gigabyte is such a nice company to make you depend on a windows only app for RGB))) Rip Linux users...

    For 3 years I bought barebones cases. Then chose the components that went in them, all on Ebay. Got too many "gray market" components. Never cared for pre-built, because of price, and VD ware. I find building your own (Not through Ebay) you get a more satisfactory result , for usually a drastic cost reduction, and you never have trouble reaching or understanding customer service.

      "Dawid does butt stuff" seems less like jealousy and more like insight now... Dawid is doing a cheater soft tube water build and still decides to cut corners. Also does not pre wire up his RGB when testing with air cooling to be sure it all works. Funny charming guy, but man, do it right.

  • @Sean-wv2xt
    @Sean-wv2xt 3 года назад

    It's not a user error Dawid, it's a power issue on the cables. I myself ran into this issue on setting up the corsair RGB setup for my wife's gaming PC and it would not send a signal to the 6th fan in the loop no matter how many fan header hubs I put in. I installed a new motherboard into her system that had one 3 pin RGB header on top and one on the bottom and created two different loops to two different corsair fan hubs and they worked correctly. So I went back to seen why it would not do 6 RGB off one loop even though the hub had 7 fan headers. I took the cable apart and tested the signal on the 5th and 6th fan RGB cable and found that it wasn't getting power to the RGB lighting on the 6th fan. So I can only surmise that the power they are using isn't enough on their hubs to actually do the job, and to test the theory I hooked up two other brand new fans and none of them got RGB so I was able to rule out a bad RGB on the 6th fan.
