Do HT's grow really slow or what? Mine is still small from a year ago - hasn't molted. Conditions are right.. well fed.. seems healthy but it was as small as a fat tail I got but now the fat tail is huge and HT is still a baby!!?!
always like your videos man! maybe try shooting some feeding videos under a red light so that the scorps are not disturbed by the normal light as they are super sensitive to it 👍🏼
@@ahickin plenty on amazon. i use a headtorch that has a red light filter when i'm feeding or checking on my Ts and scorps. even the pokies dont run back into their hide :) www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=flasligt+wit+red&ref=nb_sb_noss
hey iam a subscriber of your channel and i saw every vedio of yours and all of them are very informative can you please tell me what is the most venromous scorpion in between DEATHSTALKER OR INDIAN RED SCORPION ? and which of this have more potent venom
Hey 😊 I appreciate you watching my channel and being an amazing subscriber 👍 I would say they are both the same venom level 5 my friend. The Androctonus species have the strongest venom mate
It’s interesting that scorpion looks similar in build to the American native Desert hairy scorpion (Hadrurus arizonensis), which is not really lethal at all. The Indian red is lacking the hairs and the lighter yellow color.
It doesn't bother me that the scorpion didn't eat, I'm just ecstatic to see you H. tamulus. Those are hard to come by here in the US, I've looked for over a year with no luck.
Hlo sir if you are seen my text I want to ask you a question Sir , can you please tell me who is the most vernrmous Scorpion deathstalker (l.q) or Indian red Scorpion (h.tamulus) since their is no correct information available on Internet but I saw many vedios and on internet that h.tamulus is the most lethel scorpion and deathstalker place 2nd . But if we compare deathstalker have more potent venom then India red scorpion . But why Indian red is to be considered most vernrmous ( because it resides with human and stungs more humans then deathstalker ) that's why he is considered as most lethal In your opinion who is most vernrmous Scorpion over all and which scorpion has most leathal venom of all scorpion Iam watching you vedios since very long hope I got reply from your side 😀
I saw someone selling a scorpion called the Hottentotta Flavidulus, and they said the name of the scorpion is Indian Red Scorpion but I know for sure that the Indian Red Scorpion's scientific name is Hottentotta Tamulus. So what is truly the Hottentotta Flavidulus? I also saw someone say that the Androctonus Australis is the world's most lethal scorpion.
Androctonus crassicauda venom is stronger according to its ld50. That's why it's used in making anti venom. Btw I've seen a guy hybridize an androctonus australis with a mauritanicus
Hottentotta...love how this sounds haha! great video Alan ☺️👍🏼
🤣 lol Thanks hun
The Indian red should be a venom level 6, because this thing is a league of its own
Kevin Poe You’re definitely right kevin 😊
The Spiderman, just wondering what ever happened to your trapdoor spiders you had?
awesome vid man, loving these request vids. and ofcourse beautiful creature.
amazing video and really helpful! thank you for doing this, my Tamulus doesn't eat much either but as long as they are happy, i am happy.
You’re welcome bro 😊👍
What would happen if you got stung by the red Indian?
I’ve done research, and it says swelling in the area where you’ve stung. Sickness, and headaches
Gorgeous species! Still need to pony up and get an androctonus species
Kevin Fordy You should get the androctonus mate I have 3 in my collection 😊
How often do they have food???
I try feeding them once per week 😊

What temperature do they do best in?
Hi where would i get one of these scorpions?
Andy Jagger Hi andy 😊 depends where you’re from bud?
@@ahickin hi yeh im in Derbyshire in the UK
Omg! That cricket is big maybe it will eat the scorpion 😂😂
🤣🤣
What substrate did you use and depth. Do these borrow? Do females need a male to reproduce? Optimal temperature and humidity?
Good video, man. Kind of a shame the scorpion wasn't hungry. Maybe it will be in a few days? Just a thought.

But then why androctonus is not ranking on the top of most vernrmous.
He is one of the most

Hottentotta Tamulus has venom which is stronger than that of Leiurus Quinquestriatus.

…all scorpions are carnivorous….
And that cricket looked far too big to be used as a feeder for such a small scorpion!
When the hottentotta species has a venom level 4. The cricket has no chance to survive.
