Persecutor to Proclaimer-Acts 9

Acts 9 tells the story of the most reluctant convert ever having his life turned upside down when he met the risen and exalted Jesus. Saul the persecutor became Paul the proclaimer who took the good news that Jesus is Lord and Savior to the known world. His story tell us about what C. S. Lewis called God's "unrelenting approach," his unstoppable love even for people most radically opposed to Jesus and his people. In the story of Saul meeting Jesus, we're reminded that no matter how reluctant, unlovable, or irredeemable we imagine we are, in Jesus God offers us life-giving love.
