Thanks once again for your videos great stuff as always, I’m very well traveled, and came to Benidorm by chance that was 15 years ago, my wife and my good self still can’t get enough of the place. To put it in a nutshell it’s brilliant. Don’t listen to other people, just have a visit. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Absolutely stunning place, 2 sides, i dont drink but I enjoy the old town and the bottom section of the beach is amazing i am very very happy i came to see the place, i expected the worst but just not so, if u don't want to see the madness stay away from the strip, enjoy the rest of the place and its not that expensive when you are here ❤
My wife and I are just back from benidorm, we stayed at the Don Pancho right in the middle of the new town/strip and didn't here a thing or set foot on the strip, every night we walked 15 mins to the old town for lovely meals and a walkabout, loved it!
Never knock a place before you've been! I was absolutely shocked about how lovely this place is. Stunning views beautiful beaches. You really couldn't ask for more.
We stayed in Port Benidorm Hotel, away along at the opposite end of the old town. Close enough to visit the strip but quiet enough if that's more your thing. We found the strip too busy with stag/hen does at the weekends but better during the week. There is something for everyone there.
The old town and/or Poniente beach area is the best place to stay in Benidorm if you want to avoid the stag do`s etc, personally I like to stay at `Villajoyosa` which is about 10km before Benidorm if your coming from Alicante airport, the tram is the best mode of transport to get about that coastline.
Thats a truly lovely area! The trouble it's tv shows likw Bargain Brits Abroad abd the Benidorm comedy series that paint the wrong picture of Benidorm abd never show us thar parts pf Benidorm like this exist.
I've been going to Benidorm for over 22 years it's a beautiful place and I no it can get really busy very loud and and depending where you go it is full of drunks but there is a lot more to Benidorm and the bonus it is less then three hours from the UK I have stayed all over Europe in most of the holiday resorts and I can honestly say you won't find better Hotels anywhere I would not go any where else now if you've never been given it a try there is something for everyone there plus the little gem that is Poniente loved the video 😮😮
If you ever get to the end of poniente beach, you can walk to the top of the cliffs ...on the other side of the cliffs is another beach where they ave a party to welcome in summer at midnight on 1st day if summer.

It's amazing how many people go to Benidorm & don't even make it to the old town. 😮 one of my mums friends has been going for over 15 years and never even made it to Tapas Alley or up to the Mirador. Unbelievable. I've only stayed In the new town once ( and that was my last) that was on my first visit there over 10 years ago, we walked it to the old town and was amazed at how beautiful it was. So for the past 10 years we always stay in the old town. Poniente beach front is beautiful and it's a lovely walk to the end with some great cafes & bars on the front. ☕🍷🍹🍺 All those people that slate Benidorm are the ones that have never been. 👍😄😎🌴

Great vid,been to Benidorm over 30 times,the Old Town and beyond to Calla de Finistrat is absolutely lovely, Poniente beach more Spanish and great for kids. The new Town for the comedians and acts something for all ages. And thanks for highlighting that Benidorm is definitely nothing like Blackpool,for all the doubters give it a try you wont regret

I totally get the Blackpool in the sun remarks. The new town and beachfront of lavante beach are very commercial, and geared up for party people. But not just for the young. The old town side of Benidorm is a bit more authentic and an enjoyable area to spend some time. The strip is loud and boozy, but as an experience, is a must do. Entertainment is geared up for everyone. It’s not just clubs for the younger boozers. At some time in your life you must visit Benidorm. I don’t think anybody would be disappointed by their experience.
@ScotsmaninTenerife currently at the Parque La Paz Las Americas,first time in May and its hot during the day but surprised how cool it is at night as we are usually here in August.
The new part is not only the strip. We have been to Don Pancho for the last few years and we never go down the strip. There is lots to see without going to the strip. We love the old town too. You can hop on a bus and visit Albir and Altea. We love Benidorm
people who put negative comments dont know what they are missing a blend of the new and the old amazing beach like you have said so much for everybody to do ive been a few times really enjoyed it
Hi Kev, once when we were in Benidorm there was a wedding up on the balcony, the guests were sitting under the canopy and we saw the bride arriving in a fancy car, obviously the was a corden to stop you going up the steps to the canopy. It was really nice but we didn't stay to watch it, we felt as it we were intruding.
4:10 is that the structure they used as the fancy restaurant in the scene in ‘Benidorm’ where Johnny Vegas’ character turns up for a blind date with the transgender Geordie bloke?
Went recently best Holiday we have had in a long time brilliant place to be. Just get there you will love it. Thanks Scotty can you take to Tapaz square sometime not Tapaz Alley we couldn't find it we told 6 tapaz and a bottle of red wine for 6 euro check it out.
Only a number of snobs will compare Benidorm to Blackpool,the place as you rightly say Kev,has got something for everybody,true the new town is mental during June and July,my answer to that is don't go then,the tribute acts mostly are the best you will see,keep those videos coming,and ignore the negative comments
Admittedly the new town is a bit skanky, but ideal for a beer & beach hol. But literally like 10 minute walk into the old town and you are in a completely different resort.
Kevin i don't drink and yet i go to Benidorm .Where your after filming i defy anyone to show nicer views of a seaside location every day of a Holiday in Benidorm i will visit what your after filming. Yes there is to much drinking on the Levante and an night when I'm trying to sleep with the Balcony door open on the Levante side to noisy for me but that's only one side of things there is so much more that never makes the Headlines they would want to watch the video your just after making will you ever make a better one ? It's not about being snobs, when.you have the Benidorm comedy series and your Bargain Brits Abroad docuseries only ever painting one picture of it being all Brits sat eating fry ups and roast dinners and London style pubs everywhere, it's understandably not going to appeal to travellers that don't want British culture when travelling. It's thanks to these RUclipsrs that we are now getting to see that there is rustic, beautiful Spanish areas worth visiting.

I travel to places to experience a completely different culture, eat different food, learn histories - not wanting to live and breathe British culture all year round has no relation to being a snob? Are back packers and RUclipsrs that travel the world snobs! You think those people are interested in sitting in a British pub in Benidorm either? Stayed in the Old Town and loved it. Lovely bars and restaurants. I stayed in New Town end once and hated it.

Most people underestimate just how big Benidorm is. Benidorm can be anything you want it to be.
