I just got back from Chiang Rai today! Saw the White and Blue Temples, and got to see the Saturday Walking Street (NOT the same as the Night Bazaar). Despite being a 1/5 the size of Chiang Mai, their Walking Street is every bit as big (and maybe even bigger!). It's less touristy and more local too - loved my evening out in CR!
You really forgot Wat Huay Pla Kang. I was there its nice you can even go with an elevetor inside & its nice art + the Lalitta Cafe down the hill is nice there too.
