You can cover a lot of the main attractions around BA on foot but the subway is also a great way to get around if you want to be a bit more efficient and save your legs. Overall, a great waling city though.
Amazing video! I was wondering what month you went and whether the weather was disruptive or not. We are planning on going either in November or first week of April and we weren’t sure if there was a preference for one over the other. Thanks again for sharing your experiences!
looking at this latest vlog and I am struck by the beauty and the depth of the video(does that make sense?). The colors are popping,the quality is super-duper, and the terrain is just delicious for mine eyes. Really, though, it almost looks 3-D.

I’m heading to Argentina in March and really want to do this hike. I’m 62 and gym fit but am a flatlander from Minneapolis. So not some Colorado or Utah level hiker. Do you think the “last kilometer” was really one kilometer? I’ve heard other travel vloggers guess that’s it’s longer than that.

Great video y'all, last one too. A question for you. How close to town can you free camp in a tent? Do you have to hike a ways out or can you set up close by? Have been wondering about that for El Bolson, Esquel, Bariloche, Villa la Angostura, and San Martin de Los Andes. Planning to go to Argentina and camp along the Andes, moving north or south with the seasons. Will be down there for quite some time and would prefer to mostly free camp, using a local campground as needed to shower and charge my tablets.
Hi! An argentinian here, as this part is in the Chalten, is a national park, you need to ask permission to camp freely to authorities, also you cannot light fires in certain areas of the park. Have in mind the fauna of patagonia, I wouldn't camp in non camping areas because of pumas and other wild animals. Hope this helps you.

We love your video about Argentina. My wife (Shizuka) and I will go there in Nov for 3 weeks. U.S. Embassy in Argentina website states Foreigners who are not residents of Argentina need to "Provide evidence of medical travel insurance that includes hospitalization, quarantine, and transportation coverage for COVID-19". I found travel insurance covers hospitalization and transportation coverage for COVID-19. None mention "quarantine". Do you mind share which travel insurance did you use when traveling in Argentina and if the insurance specially mentioned "quarantine" coverage?
Hi Peter, we booked our travel insurance via IMG/Patriot International. Once we got the confirmation, we clicked 'My Plan Documents', entered the policy #, and that took us to a section to print off a letter that explains the coverage includes Covid-19. This was a few months ago now, but I imagine it should still be the same!

I love these two. While I've been to El Calafate and the glaciers, I missed El Chaltén and Fitz Roy....though I did get a glimpse on the flight approach to Calafate's airport. I thought El Calafate was awful and completely ruined by bad development. But Chaltén looks like a dream. Thanks for sharing your hiking experience.

So happy you guys dd the hike for me. I usually walk 4 to 6 miles a day but with about 3 or 4 walks at a time around the neighborhood.
