I would actually have The Oculus lower (or lowest on the list). This was a dungeon players avoided at all costs. You could never find groups for it, and with LFD people left the moment you zoned in. It was so bad that Blizzard added a goodie bag only for this dungeon that rewarded extra badges and a chance for a mount (That also dropped from 10M Malygos). If you have to add such an incentive for people to even complete the dungeon you know the place went wrong somewhere.
Oculus is fine, I never got the hate for it. Even better that it had the extra goody bag but you also got 4 bosses in very quick succession and an easy final boss if you can read tooltips and know how to press 1 and 2 on your keyboard but apparently that's too difficult for the majority of WoW players.
@@Eskinor Oculus had two problems: 1) Vehicle handling was generally disliked in WoW. 2) Three dimensional combat is difficult to implement in an MMORPG in a way that's cool and engaging. That's why usually underwater combat is almost always frowned upon, and flying combat is exactly the same. Combine those things and you get one of the most hated dungeons.
@@Artanis69 I can see the point about vehicle combat, but the occulus drakes weren't that bad and were used for such a small part of the dungeon overall; flying from platform to platform and for one single boss. Even then, that boss was honestly quite fun especially if your group isn't full of mouthbreathers who can't read a tooltip or insist on some weird strategy like 5 red drakes because "it's easier" not just for the achievement. Honestly that fight was more fun than the vehicle section in Malygos' encounter which is just 1, 1, 2 over and over, it had some nuance like using the time stop at the right time and stacking the debuff so you could do massive damage on the bronze drake. As for 3d combat being bad, I really don't get this point, underwater combat was fine, especially in Vash'jir which gave you a bunch of tools to work with but people still hated on that zone for some reason. Same with flying on drakes, like do people not have mouses or something?
