I can see some cuts to keep the cost down- no robes or nightlights, small bathroom, no shelves, limited tv, 1 cleaning per day, low beds, low budget furniture. Buffet- little waste- made to order.
we always bring a nite light that is battery or usb charged. set in BR at nite and charge in AM. we also bring 2 short shoe bags and use 2 hooks to hang in BR for stuff and hang one in the closet for shoes and stuff , they lay flat , take up no room in bags.
Good review. And yes our room did narrow down as well. Just FYI but if you split the beds into twins they do that in the L shape like they would the couch. We felt it opened up the room somewhat doing it this way. The tech side of the room is nice just wish the width of the room was slightly larger as we bumped the TV many times on the wall making our way to the other side of the beds. Also we felt the plugs for whomever is on that right side are way too far away. Need to make sure your cords are extra long. Was great to meet you guys on board and look forward to seeing more of your reviews soon!

Will you be posting the links soon to the items you showed in the video? I thought they looked incredibly helpful! Thanks!
We normally sail on Viking, loving the adults only thing. We think that Virgin Voyages would be great for our adventurous and experimental side. But every time I look at these cabins, those are the dealbreakers for us. We like PV cabins on Viking, or longer veranda cabins on Oceania with comfy loveseats and roomy coffee tables for room service. Also, the drawers in this cabin wouldn’t be deep enough for us. And that teeny bathroom! And what would we do about our wider checked luggage (for longer cruises) not fitting under the bed? We really want to try a cruise on here, but would be forced to book one of the aft rock suites. Not crazy about being all the way aft in rougher water.
As for the larger luggage, I cannot confirm this, but if you were to book a Rock Star suite, I would be willing to bet that they would store your luggage for you remotely, and return the night before embarkation. I would say that the Sea Terrace stateroom, while comfortable, was not the best feature of the ship. What about one of the other Rock Star suites?
I'm curious about how you all got the Rockstar package but stayed in a sea terrace cabin. I thought the Rockstar stuff was for guests in Rockstar and Mega Rockstar suites. Thanks.
No shelves because in rough seas things go crashing. Imagine all that potential broken glass on your bath floor! Really Experienced cruisers would have known that. I’ve seen huge messes when people didn’t stow things properly in rough weather. I alway keep that in mind when I arrange things.
@@thomasgreen1816 That is a tough call since we have not sailed on Oceania in many, many years. A lot would depend on the ships. I would avoid the older, smaller HAL ships, but the new ones are amazing (Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Eurodam, etc.).

Thank you for the thorough room tour. We are torn on whether we want to try VV. Looking forward to the rest of your reviews.

Yes I will
You can find the links in the video description.
It would be interesting to see a video comparison of your Crystal experience versus MSC Yacht Club

Pass on Virgin. Not good.
Bring some battery operated tea lights to use as a nightlight
GREAT idea!

I would like to know that also😁
I’ll bet they have a travel planner who told VV they are BIG cruisers and giving them that status would pay off in the future for everyone.
Cruising onVirgin at the end of the week, leaving from Barcelona. What shipboard activities would you recommending attending.
Scarlet night. We missed the pajama party and wish we hadn’t. Definitely see Duel Reality.
WE are going on the Barcelona cruise May19-26. Hope you have a nice time
@@Sandradix We are goin on that same cruise at the end of September.

Think we will pass on that cruise line. Hope you guys had a good time though.
We really enjoyed it.
@@CruiseReport we are trying to decide between Holand America or Oceania for Norway / Iceland cruise. Which would be better in your opinion?
