I use this cream on my face twice a week, but always mixing it with the Cerave "standard" moisturizing cream (in the jar). If I don't mix it, it is far too strong for my skin. However I am very careful not to apply it on the round eye and mouth areas. With this cream, a little goes a long way.
I bought mine today before checking any vidéo on ot on youtube. Since it is peeling when applying on dry skin its important to apply it on humidified skin after shower. Urea it contians is what makes me buy this product cause im african living in Cameroon, and I have very very dry skin on my body and combination skin on my face. So i will use it only on my body and since it contrains acids like salyicilic and lactic ones, i will use it in night only. Thanks for your video.😊

This is the most honest Cerave SA Cream review I've ever watched. It is true that it has druglike/chemical scent so it is not 100% true that it's fragrant free so had to mix it with other fragrant lotion. I have a super dry skin, Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion works for me plus it's legit scent-free. Thank you for your review.

I used this cream for about a week but I soon realized it was badly clogging my pores and stopped. More than a week later I am breaking out BADLY still cause my pores are completely clogged. Any tips? I know I need to exfoliate to help unclog them but I'm so scared t do anything to my face that might make the acne worse. I also know salicylic acid can help with this but I'm terrified of ever using products with SA ever again lol

Hi, I suggest you get a liquid exfoliant like the Paulas choice as opposed to using this on your face. It could be pore-clogging for some. Like I said in the video, using it on your face is by choice.

not sure if you can mix them, but I wouldn’t put on the vitamin c serum and this cream at the same time since it has salicylic acid which don’t mix well
Yes, you can use Vitamin C with Niacinamide in you skincare routine. It’s fine to use the Cerave cream. Morning and/or night. But do not mix vitamin c into the cream for body application.

Yes it does. the reason it does is because it breaks down old skin and exfoliates it so naturally it causes new skin to come in.
I didn't notice any brightness but it did help with rashes and any skin irritation I had with continuous use.

It does. for the simple fact the salicylic acid exfoliates the skin and breaks down and removes old skin. so naturally it lightens your skin.
