Benedict always has his neck scarf tied with one loop and one tail. It's his signature. I loved that Eloise has her coat ties done this way as they hug goodbye. It made me feel their special connection reinforced before she leaves.
I don't, He's an asshole in that book. But they probably will. They always make the Male leads Assholes, even if just perceived as such, and anything the female lead does that is in anyway less than pure virtue ignored, celebrated, or barely acknowledged.
I will be so fucking angry if they ruin Benedict's story with their useless side plots i fucking swear 😤 his story line was the best, if they stray too far from it i will riot
Apparently, Radio Times hopes that they show more of his queerness, so they’re hoping to get to see more gay sex scenes between Benedict and another man before Benedict settles down with Sophie - they’re also hoping that Sophie is trans so that a more modern ‘queer audience’ can have their share of romance too, since APPARENTLY straight people have had their turn already (sure, not like most romance story nowadays focus on LGBTQ characters or anything).
I just took it out at the library and can't wait to read it! Your comment is wonderful for me because it builds the excitement about sitting down with it. Thank you⛲🏰🎭
No, no, no. In the early 19th century, a man asking a woman to be his mistress is tantamount to him asking her to become a prostitute. There is nothing romantic about a man telling a woman she is not good enough to be his wife.
Finally someone who isn’t happy about Michaela. I don’t care that she’s bi but her infertility is something that is less spoken about and I feel that should be addressed rather than her sexuality in a time that wouldn’t accept it anyway. It will just ruin her season and I loved her book.
@@LavenderSc yes, I just reread it and they'll have to change so much it won't even be the same story anymore. Just the names will be the same, or similar.
I’ve been reading fanfiction. When I come across Michael I get sad. Book 6 was awesome and his smoldering desire for Francesca will be missed. Like the intense passion that wasn’t in her first marriage. Why couldn’t they have made Eloise gay or someone else less major to the plot? Plus the whole heir and inheritance thing. Unless Fran gives birth to a boy with John, there won’t be a baby with Michaela. What happens to the Kilmartin estate then? Also infertility and child loss is a major part of Book 6.
If I’m not mistaken, Benedict’s story is a play on the Cinderella story. Because of that I feel that S3 may be implying that Benedict’s Sophie may be a Soren (male) and that her illegitimacy favors the “illegitimacy” of their relationship.
I’ve heard a lot of theories also about it being potentially Cressida and allowing part of their story to be a redemption arc because well she’s not illegitimate she does come from even abusive home. But I also remember them mentioning that they want to play with Benedict’s fluidity a lot more
Yes but now Benedict is apparently playing for both teams! So does Sophie come with a plus one or what? And Michael Stirling now transformed into Michaela Stirling🙄🙄 I hope Shonda takes a stand….
This is getting out of hand. Make the background characters LGBTQIA+. But the original stories are beautiful and it’s making me sad that we are losing Micheal and losing Sophie would hurt so much more.
Benedict is actually the one story that I would be very open to being gay, just cause of the build up. I think it would be less repetitive in storylines too. But I agree, I was confused by Francesca and Michaela at the end 😅
@@shinademcnally9041 I wouldn’t mind it but I adore Sophie and it won’t be the same without her cause Benedict was a dick to her and she made him a better person.
@@LavenderSc yeah I actually haven’t read the books so it makes sense that I don’t have as much a connection to the characters as the readers would. So you’re totally valid.
@@shinademcnally9041 The books are great and I recommend them but fair warning all of the Bridgerton men are horrible and the Daphne marriage grape is far worse. But they are good and closer to being historically accurate than the tv show.
I just have a question: since the book focuses on MICHAEL and not Michaela, are they just going to advertise a lesbian couple onto the front cover of a book that focuses on heterosexual sex and a heterosexual couple?

I LOVE Benedict 🫶🏻 Luke is such a handsome man, and he portrays the character in such a likable way. Can't wait to see more.
I can't wait for Benedict's season, I hope they do it well since they won't be adapting Francesca how it's written.😢 I'll miss you Michael!😭😭😭

That would be awful if they changed Sofie to a male.

I have a bad feeling that Sophie Beckett will be Steven Beckett instead or some shit ....
lol
i hope they don’t ruin Benedict’s story like they did Francesca’s…
Ahhhhh I can't wait a whole year again!! Please don't make me wait a whole fvcking year 😭
Or perhaps two years 😭💔
Can’t wait to see his love story I’m reading it right now it is great
Yup, Benedict Season 4. B storyline is Eloise. C will be Violet.
I hope they cast a lady like Lily James.
I noticed that line...it seems to tease at Benedict's book.
Hopefully it's not Chris Colfer who will be play as Sophie
Yeah I caught that and I am so proud of myself
I cant wait to watch this intire season 4…
I thought it will be Eloise love story next..... So it was the 4th
Me seeing this short the day itself I finished reading the book 😮😂
