Django, who was of Romani descent, revolutionized guitar playing with his unique techniques while recovering from injuries that limited the use of two fingers on his left hand. The "Quintette du Hot Club de France," led by Reinhardt and Grappelli, became iconic, blending swing rhythms with a soulful, melodic approach that has influenced musicians worldwide. Gypsy Jazz continues to thrive, maintaining its acoustic, string-based sound, and is celebrated for its improvisational flair and emotional depth.
