have a ring around the local scrap merchants, when they buy them in they check the numbers to confirm which cat it is due to variations in there value, hope this helps
on a side note , when you next go to cyprus and need collecting from the airport let me know, my brother lives in tremathousa and has a 2017 jag xjl ,he had it exported from the uk and he is doing a bit of chauffeuring with it , very comfy as you know,best regards Cal

I used to have a civic type r in silver years ago. BN04 FSG was the reg and I loved that car, it was so reliable, never went wrong

I enjoyed the video Calvin as I bought a new black EP3 Civic Type R in March 2002. In 2004 my daughter took over that car and I bought a new facelift grey one in March 2004. I kept the grey one until October 2004 and then part exchanged it for a new silver Honda S2000 Roadster.
Owned so many hot hatches over the years and nothing came close to the type r there’s just something about them that makes you smile that’s why o owned 4 of them two ep3 and 2 fn2 I still miss them to this day and thinking about getting another for the weekends has long you keep upto the services and tensioner for chain and oil of course there absolutely brilliant

Damn Calvin I have literally been in the same boat. My cat converter got robbed in broad daylight right outside my house from my Civic ep2 recently. Now I got a bloody engine light on permanently cuz I cannot afford a new cat :(.

August 2020 I had the cat robbed off my Clio sport 172 when prices were around £700 scrap value for them and the misses Honda jazz cat also in the same night… Was fuming just the fact someone violated my belongings. One day their jack will fail and they will be crushed under someone’s car. That’s karma.

I still own my ep3 and ep2 from factory new and it’s still my favourite hatchback of all time , it’s lo fun to drive and very reliable if use common sense 😀

The car we bought twelve weeks ago (2003 Honda CRV) had its CAT stolen in its past life,presuming it’s an aftermarket one now I’m hoping the OEM one won’t get stolen.

Gutted for you. Tossers around my area always pinching cars. At 42, I finally got a car that I love and on the third night my Ring doorbell picked up little toe rags sniffing around it on my drive. Sadly, police haven't got the resources to do anything.

I had a eu8 1.6 honda civic VTEC one owner from new recently and the insurance wrote it off due to my catalytic converter being robbed. Was the best car I think I have ever drove wish it was a type r tho haha
With the way life is going I fear more of this shit is going to happen.
