Upon inheriting his grandfather's coin laundromat, a middle-aged Minato Akira gives up his former corporate life to run the well-loved coin laundry shop peacefully. Honestly for me, the entire confession/kiss scene was so ✨perfect✨ it had a kind of special vibe to it. The way shin clearly sucked the air out of Akira and how the latter was tapping him to stop. Even during the most special moment they still had their regular banter. Ugh! I already miss them gosh 😭
This was the perfect ending to their series. I couldn’t stop smiling when I watched it. ❤

Besides Cherry Magic, this is probably one of the very few series I would gladly wish a Season 2 for.. Or maybe even a movie. The ending is just so cute and fluffy you'd definitely want to see more 🤧

I loved this show and this couple. Shin's smile every time he got even a little bit of what he wanted from Minato , made me smile. This was just such a beautiful and sweet story with great humour and a pure love. Japanese BLs are knocking it out of the park for me. Hope these two find another BL to do together in the future. Either way I'll be keeping an eye out for them and the actor who played Asuka, in the future.

I miss them already. I am hoping for a second season since I have heard that the manga is still ongoing. But if not, I hope they have other drama projects together. They are wonderful actors and have great chemistry together. On a side note, I’m glad Minato-san finally confessed. After all, you did say Shin was your “type”, in the very first episode, Minato-san. 😊

Finally Akira n Shin got the happy ending. Usually Japanese bl series have peck or short n unexpected kiss. But here we got 3 kiss back to back😘😘😘 The way Shin kissed Akira back for so long that Akira felt suffocated which is funny to watch🤣🤣🤣
Also they hold each other's hands affectionately while walking on the beach at the end was so cute n adorable 😍😍😍 I really enjoyed watching this series 🤗🤗🤗

never knew that the ending of a story could be this beautiful. japanese bl always makes my heart warm and it's hard to move on i swear. their chemistry and the tension between them is top notch. the way shin smilling while hugging minato literally melts my heart. their so cuteeee too much, and love the way shin wants to kiss minato moreeee because he's been waiting for 10 years lol

It’s not overly complicated. It’s romantic, playful, and amazing. I can’t wait to see what else these actors can do!

Not really related to the series but y'all idk what came to me that I rewatched Kieta Hatsukoi today, and literally just found out that Shin was a support role in that series. I couldnt believe it when I realized it was him because he looked absolutely different (his hair and his character!) I totally didnt notice. Like. At all.
The class president, yeah. He looked so different in Kieta Hatsukoi compared to Minato’s Laundromat. Though honestly Minato did too, when he played Rokakku in Cherry Magic. Amazing what different hairstyles can do.

The scene just blows me away. Akira gave up his career to run the coin laundry, which he loves doing. Having mentioned it when he saved Shin, the coin laundry brings them together, when Shin finds it after all those years. When Akira says he will wait at the coin laundry forever for Shin to come back, I just lose it. if Shin doesn't come back, Akira will grow old and only lonelier, managing his little business. Now we know that Minato-san wants only one more thing in the next fifty years of his life -- to be Shin's partner in his heart. Of course, then Shin reveals that he doesn't have to wait. He's not going to Tokyo. Quite a sacrifice on his part too, to give up a spot at a prestigious university.
It's hard to describe that extraordinary smile Nishigaki produces every time Akira comes closer to Shin throughout the travails both guys go through. It is both angelic and confident that after all the doubt and suffering, not only that he will succeed but that it is the right thing for him to succeed. Indeed, both the writing and Nishigaki's acting turn what could have been viewed as a weird teenage boy's obsession into what instead seems like the most natural thing, if only Minato-san would realize it. I guess it is that pure, angelic innocence Nishigaki is able to conjure up that convinces the viewer right from the beginning that they belong together.

It's a really adorable and touching series as the Japanese know how to do it, all in simplicity. The couple convinced me of their love, I didn't need to see kisses to feel their feelings, the actors are good enough to convey the right emotions to us. On the other hand, I would have been frustrated if I hadn't had the right to a kiss at the end, but that's not the case, so, for me, the series is perfect! 🤗
C'est une série vraiment adorable et touchante telle que les japonais savent le faire, tout en simplicité. Le couple m'a convaincue de leur amour, je n'ai pas eu besoin de voir des bisous pour ressentir leurs sentiments, les acteurs sont suffisamment bons pour nous transmettre les bonnes émotions. J'aurais été en revanche frustrée si je n'avais pas eu droit à un bisou à la fin, mais ce n'est pas le cas, donc, pour moi, la série est parfaite! 🤗
