It was the right time to play Burnley. They had plenty changes in their team as did we but our players have taken their opportunity with both hands. The confidence is high and we looking refreshed under Regis guidance. Early days but positive signs.
Spot on. On the left we have Mundle, Poveda, and Wilson. Bring in Šimić and another, it will be a great window. I personally think we need cover at full-back.
Losing Clarke has been a huge blow but it was good to see that it didn't affect the players today and that's also credit to Le Bris for keeping the lads focused on the job at hand, we've had a fantastic start to the season and i truly believe if we spend some money between now and deadline day on another striker and a new winger or potentially 2 strikers and have Isidor and Mundle fighting for the LW spot, maybe a decent loan or buy out of nowhere, if we do all of this or some of this then we've got a really good chance of challenging this season
@@Mackem67 of course, obviously I'm not gonna be negative just for the sake of it, if we're doing well on the pitch then I'm happy, regardless of how we we're doing at the moment we've still got a lot of work to do off the pitch in the terms of transfers and that will determine how our season will pan out as we progress through the campaign, massive final week ahead but right now it's been a very good start and we do look very promising this season and long may it continue
THIS IS WHAT I LOOK FORWARD TO..
Great analysis of the game

Sunderland are playing good football at the moment

@@Mackem67 thanks mate 👍
@@ThaneME2 please come back. Or at least duet again with Michael ..
Thanks to people want to watch this. Shaun is the main man but good that people seem to like watching me waffle!
I think the players have said to themselves we have to make up for last season and give them something to be proud of
I think last season under Beale and Dodds the players were lost with sketchy instructions. Under Le Bris they now know what to do and when to do it.
Sunderland are paying the wages for Wilson
Sunderland will go up this season
