      It's wonderful to hear from you and to know that you're finding the videos helpful, especially as you're pursuing your Montessori course in Kerala. I'm glad that the explanations are clear and easy to understand, despite any concerns about language barriers. Your effort to learn and grow in this field is truly commendable.
      Best of luck on your viva session tomorrow. You've got this!

    The music of this video and the volume of it really takes away from the information being spoken. The music is distracting and adds sense of emotion that’s too intense.

      Good question! A lot of people ask this. They say children are attracted especially to the color pink and thats why she chose this.

    Beautiful presentation. I really appreciate the whole series. What if the child throws the cubes or insists on knocking down the tower? Also, what would you reccommend for exposing older children to Montessori materials for the first time, say 4, 5 & 6yr olds. Is it too late for some of the early materials, especially where sensorial is concerned?

    What age is suitable for pink tower? My son is just 18 months.

    • @SunshineTeachersTraining
      @SunshineTeachersTraining  3 года назад

      You can start at 2 years. By then your son would have developed the focus and motor skills for this material.

    What if they try throwing them? My son (26 months) started building it and then started trying to throw these heavy blocks at his sister(4 years old). I have cleaned the toys and have shelf activities for them in a beautiful environment and all they do is throw things and dump everything onto the floor. I don’t know how to work through that?

    • @SunshineTeachersTraining
      @SunshineTeachersTraining  3 года назад +3

      Hi Anna. Your problem is very common - you are not alone. Even in school we face this. Usually we sit with all thee children and discuss the rules for using the materials. And we discuss why we handle them gently and with respect. We ask the children to share why we would not want to throw them. So start with that first. Chances are it may still continue. Wee normally tell the children that if they continue to throw the material we will have to stop them from using it. If its at home you can take it away. Basically you want to have some kind of consequence for misuse of the materials. Give them other materials till they get used to the environment and the rules. I hope this helps.
