WOW! Kyle Bush impressed me with what he did after his clumsy turn on lap 2. Really. It was a great run by him. I think he even tried too hard, so overall he was a dirt driver that day. Anyway, cannot blame him for bumping Truex Jr. These guys race to win so accidents may happen to everyone. What could the 7 do? Huh... This is NASCAR. I can't wait for the next season! Cheers.

If there was anywhere you could get away with making a giant diffuser out of your back bumper and having it actually help your car, I couldn't think of a better place for that to happen than Bristol.
I'm going to chalk this up to network differences and different camera placement, but this race looks a lot more frenetic than the spring race does on Fox. Bristol is one of my favorite tracks as it's the vehicular equivalent of a bar fight, but on Fox it can get to be a repetitive snoozer like Charlotte.

Love him or hate him the 37 should have backed off in the incident that ended Kyle’s race. He knew he had nowhere to go but committed to a crashing line anyway. Kyle fought from 2 laps down to the top 10 with a ruined car. Pure skill ruined by a bad choice late in the race. Shame.
Bristol has to be my most favorite track to watch these race! It's not the fastest track in the circuit, but I almost think it takes more skill to drive this track than say Daytona.

Look at all the empty seats... AT BRISTOL? Ten years ago, I tried to get tickets for the Bristol Night Race and there was a five-year waiting list! Now there are empty seats? I understand the economy was bad for eight years, but that's not the case any longer. I think TV and Internet coverage has gotten so good that it's not worth actually going to the race. Too bad.
I do help the cause! I make an effort to go every race that I get a chance to. My butt was at Martinsville last fall when it was 38 degrees and wind blowing like hell but the racing was worth it.
Can't help but notice just how good of a production NBC puts on compared to what we have now on Fox. Cant wait for them to take back over in June!
