- Plinky Plonky Pete has returned and finds himself "Stuck in the Middle of Crewe".
Peter Wood from Stafford, known to many as "Plinky Plonky Pete", used his home studio to record "Stuck in the Middle of Crewe", adapting the lyrics of the 1972 Stealers Wheel classic to reflect the local area. The music video features locations around the railway town of Crewe.
Peter said, "I had great fun coming up with lyrics that both fit the song and the town. From Grand Junction to the Alexandra Stadium the video takes you on a musical tour of some of the landmarks of Crewe.
There's also references in the video to the cult Quentin Tarantino film Reservoir Dogs. Peter even donned the iconic suit and black sunglasses made famous by the 1992 film.
