One of the best concerts you could ever go to. Pure entertainment. Been lucky enough to see him many many times at the Coach House and Solana Beach. Biddy bang bang!

Seen him many years ago at the Hollywood palladium, with steel pulse ....I scavagged about a 1/4 oz of bud off the table in the dressing room after the show....my fav reggae band!

We saw the first three before a raging thunderstorm made the show dangerous. Eek-a-Mouse was dressed like a Genie and spread his long arms wide as lightning struck really close. What could have been a woodstock level show, was only a monterey level show.

RIP MO Bay, Jamaica, Sunsplash. Early in the a.m. as the sun raises over Splash and Peter Tosh is into his performance doves fly over Peter's head, phenomenal. Nowhere else can you witness such a thing, nowhere. On a next night, the sun raises on Mobay Sunsplash, and out struts the stupendous Eek-A-Mouse. The Mouse stands as tall as the clear blue sky looking down on the adoring official Sunsplash crowd. Nowhere in the entire world will you catch that vibe, nowhere. Flash it!

I think I recorded these recordings (or at least most of them) on cassette off of my radio!!! Setting the microphone up precariously in front of the speaker and making sure you didn't move...and hoping n one entered the room and started speaking (if you grew up in the 70s/80s this was the only option to copy music!!!! :D) ... This has just transported me back to my teenaged bedroom in Purley!!
