After a week at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya I can tell you that this resort is a symphony of contradictions. What they do well, they do really well and what they don't do well, they seriously blunder. So while I sit at home trying to write a script telling you how conflicted I am about this resort here is an unscripted morning walking tour. No narration-just me, you, my camera man extraordinaire (Steve). Stay tuned to our channel for the narrated review, where I spill the beans and tell you our thoughts about the good, the bad and the ugly of this resort.

We saw this resort closed down while being converted from a Secrets to a Hyatt over a couple years time as we go to the resort next door to it often It certainly looks very nice We only saw it from the beach in the past Thanks for doing such great videos

Hi there. I just finished watching the video. Beautiful but looking forward to your comments. You have certainly piqued my interest . Can you tell me what the animal is that was walking across the back of the scene near the 14 minute mark??

The animal is a Coatimundis aka Coatis aka Mexican racoons aka Trash Bandit. 😁
They are all over the resort and are cute but cheeky.
There are signs up on the suite balcony doors to keep it "locked" because they can get in.
A member of our group was eating his pretzel in front of his unlocked sliding door and the coatis strolled up from outside and simply opened the door.😲
He said it was like that moment in Jurassic Park when the raptor learns to open doors. I laughed so hard when he was telling me I almost fell off my chair. 🤣
They aren't dangerous just bold. They will also go into a beach bag so I suggest bringing one that zips rather than snaps. Then they move on to something easier to 'borrow' 😊
Great Video but the music 🎵 literally put us to sleep no joke maybe recommending a little more upbeat for the next one just saying will be there in two weeks
