Hey guys, recently we got a chance to experience India's largest and most luxurious cruise vacation in Costa Serena. In this video we have shared our experience in detail so that you know what to expect when you are booking a trip with Costa Serena. There are different destinations this cruise offers but our trip was from Mumbai to Goa for 3 nights. Here are some brief details;
On Day 1- we boarded the ship from Mumbai International Cruise Terminus (Green Gate), Check in process is more or less similar like Flights. Important document to carry is Aadhar Card and Printed copy of your ticket. (Passport is not needed).
On Day 2 - We explored the ship on this day, there was pool party in the morning & Diwali Party at night. Since we were there for Diwali. Along with that there was tons of activities and shows to attend.
On Day 3 - We anchored in Goa and went to Colva beach. Again, there are different excursions available. You can select as per your preference. (Costing details are mentioned in the video).
On Day 4 - Morning 9 AM we reached back to Mumbai.
Important things to Know:
Carry Portable Jet Spray as washrooms do not have bidet.
Wifi is available but on added cost (Costing details mentioned in the video)
For drinks you can select packages or pay per drink.
You have to load your Cruise Card with USD as INR does not work on the cruise. You can load it via your credit card only. Debit card does not work. (Make sure that you have international transactions activated on your card. Cash is not accepted inside the cruise.

Just watched your video on Costa Serena and liked it.I have done 7 cruises during last 7 years-5 of them to Europe .My advice is ,if you are in a position(financially) ,do go on 7 day cruise - which is altogether a different world.I have been on Norwegian,Royal Caribbean,MSC,P & O ,Costa Fascinosa etc. and have visited 25 countries.

Even though cordelia ship is older the cabins are better than costa. I just traveled via balcony cabin in cordelia and it was soooo much nicer than this as the cabins have been renovated. Both doors to the balcony are full height glass and looks much better compared to this window style. 😊

Writing again: Can you tell us what are the next cruises of Costa Serena in2024?.Do they cover any foreign ports (obviosly noy on the Mumbai-Goa route).Does this cruise sail to Singapre or Kaula Lampur? Do we have to carry separate internatioal credut cards or the normal Indian credit cards will do? What so you suggest a minimum amount we should have in our credt cards. Do they exhange INR for USD the cruise itself? We are senior citizens and would ike to spend a few days in the ship as well as in South Goa. Your tips will be welcome.

As far as we know, they are sailing Sri Lanka, Andaman and Goa.
Any credit card with international transaction activated works.
Roughly 10-15k is good enough for 3 - 4 days cruise per person.
They don’t exchange INR.

Kya international music like Country & Western, classical and semi-classical music, rock, popo music ya tho highly skiled cirscuses without any animals, internatiomal magic shows nahi dikhaya jata hai? Aur apna ticket mein kitne value or INR equivalent in USD dal sakte ho. Kya My Drinks included in the cabin charges? Yeh card mein kab dollars bharta hei -before embarking, or on board or before you enterthe cruise ship. KIndly mujhe yeh sab deatails dijeye ta ki I will not have any problems. One last thing kya senoir citizens ke liye kya kya phaida mil sakte hai? i'm making plans to sail soon witm my wife. Thank you so much..
