Great job on that! Man the rain out there is sketchy. I can't belive you were hitting all those features with it sloppy out there. Damn shoes and rock features. nice job on finishing 15th out of 28! Ricardo too! Nice!
Was a great race, couldn't have asked for more. No incidents in those conditions, and tons of fun riding. The rain was really sketch on some spots, but its as always, just send it and its fine haha
Looks like a fun race. You're tougher than me though. I feel like I would have bailed on those conditions. I got excited when I saw the notification. Was hoping we'd see the new bike in this one.
Was a lot of fun. The good thing about these races is that there's no pressure. You just go out and have fun. It got here a few days ago. Already built it, but I have no where to ride, so... just decorative for now lol.
@@variousartists8261 I saw a few people on hardtails. For almost anyone, as long as the bike reliable, you're good. Just think about going out there to finish it, results are irrelevant.
Its crazy to see how fast those fastest times are. Some of those guys are just unbelievable. Was great to meet you out there. Hope we get another ride in soon.
@@BlindstuffMTB yea I was hearing they were scrubbing those jumps like pros. I think without the wet times would have been so much closer. It was still so fun. And yes it was awesome meeting you in person also man.
It's a good tire if you want something super fast rolling. I've ridden it in a lot of places and its done well. That being said, I think the aggressor is a better overall tire, the rolling resistance difference is minimal if at all noticeable at its much much better under braking. If you're an aggressive rider the aggressor is imho better, if you want a faster tire for tamer trails, the SS is more appropriate.
@@BlindstuffMTB Awesome! I think the aggressor is my tire then! I am currently doing an enduro bike build and saw you had one and was curious about it! Thanks for telling me
BlindStuff! I heard you mention you live in Florida? I just moved to NW florida one year ago from just outside Philadelphia. I love it here as im 5 minutes from the beach but unfortunately im about 3 hours from any real mtb trails. Well, “real” trails with major hills. I just demo’d a yeti sb140 from a shop right near oak mountain about 5 weeks ago. I rode most the same trails you did in that enduro then went up to coldwater trails for a day. There is a trail there called “bomb dog” that is awesome! Have you ever been? Where in Florida do you reside?
Hey Ryan! Welcome to FL. Its definitely different riding. Tallahassee has some great riding imho. Lots of pedaling but still fun. Now that you've tried Coldwater and Oak, make your way to Brevard, NC for some of the best riding in the US. There's a lot of good riding around Atlanta, the Appalachians are amazing. I'm in south FL, an extra 5 hours to drive out of the state haha!
Sick runs, dude. Got my first ever enduro in Montana at the end of May (if they don’t cancel it). Stoked. How many enduros do you typically go after each year?
Thanks! Montana looks so amazing, hope to ride there someday. I also have one at the start of June. Not very hopeful. I was planning on doing 3 to 5 this year. But we'll see how it goes.
you finished it in one piece and thats the most important + FUN, thank you for taking us along, V!
Glad you enjoyed it! Finally new bike in the next video!
Awesome video showing the comparisons of dry vs muddy af.
Glad that guy on the thumbnail pic is ok. Looks like a sender to me!
Legend say's he using the quarantine perfect his skinny skills.
Yo that me at 0:55 in the yellow and blue jersey
That was a fun day of racing!

Great recap of the enduro! I think I’m going to enter this year!
Go for it, its a ton of fun!

i know that feeling, its really hard to relax and settle in!
So much is just in our heads.
Always good to see you upload. Great work, keep it up!
Much appreciated Robert!
That was a fun messy race!
Totally was, made for a super interesting day!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hey Stefano, stay safe kid. Also, great video. Way to hang tough in the rain!
Thanks Matt! We gotta set up that podcast soon. Been enjoying all the interviews with so many community icons.
Very cool thanks for sharing...
You bet, thanks Kenny!
Nice riding man! It's hard trusting wet, sloppy trails. Stay safe!
You got that right! Thanks man, you too!
Oak mountain is awesome!! Lightning and Jeckyl and Hyde is where it’s at
Didn't ride Jeckyll and Hyde this trip, but I loved it last time I was there!
BlindstuffMTB I want to do this race next year, but I don’t think my entry level hardtail is up for it

BlindstuffMTB it’s not what most would call reliable but I could probably make it anyway
Ha I think I was the slowest time on at lease one of those stages. Ha. Man that was so sloppy but was so fun.

Hey, how is the minion SS? I have always wondered about that tire!

how do you maintain such good go pro quality after upload?
Really good source material, bit rate has to be high. Export at a high resolution (> 1440p), with a high bitrate and export using VBR 2 pass.

My “MTB Dad” was in that race and I’m pretty sure he won
Nice, that's awesome! Do you know what class?
This is Trail not enduro race...you can do it easy on a hardtail...you got 6k bike ..you use it on 30%... maybe the tires let you down in the wet
