one Rockhaven is around 12-20mil with salvage now.. throwing out MTU make a BM and come back later in a Noctis. Officers no one lets behind they are looted imidiately after the ano is done usually
Instead of returning them between cycles you can order them to orbit targets. Works better as they keep transversal and are in optimal before you target things.

shortcuts, fighters, set Toggle Ship Selection shortcut. When u warp into a site, click align back to ur safespot and deselect your ship so when u click orbit or anything with ur fighters ur ship will ignore it, u will allways be aligned to a safespot
you can actually speed this up a little bit, coming from a fellow super ratter here. If you bomb the first and last waves, and use the pirate gate in the middle to align and range the bombs, and then keep your FiBo's selected and approach-click them near your carrier after every wave, you can save a good chunk of time at the cost of a little more APM. Also, depending on the region, you shouldve mentioned that you might want to run 1x range and 1x optimal in the omni's. Other than that, exactly this video. Good stuff.
You don't need tracking scripts in your drone links. For scantums the optimal range bonus matters. i fly a nyx an i find that i have no problem blapping anything even frigates with my heavy fighters thus no need for tracking speed scripts. and for pve the nyx is better pre changes was the only super that could 2 shot battleships without having to buy the officer dda that the hel needs. But this was a great video didnt know there was a next target hotkey :D
why do you leave your heavies at the site instead of returning them? Is it because it is faster to recall them after you warped than have them slow boat back to at the site?
Yes exactly. More than likely once you're done with the site your heavies will be around 65-80kms away from the Carrier. So naturally it's easier to just recall them once you land at the next site.
lol ive been playing for only a few months and i dont warp to 0 unless i can tank and brawl at the same time, other than that any far range ship can be 20 to 30 with drones.
Get 5 PCs do a party with 4 Drone cruisers with 120 KM drone control or more and 1 battleship for close combat of your preference, assign all drones to your tanker and go fight. You should get about 2K dps from drones and about 500 from your tank ship.
I'm gonna have my first ever super (Nyx) in a couple weeks/months, but we are living in a Drone region (Drone Horde sites), could you make a guide video for them also ? :D Or just any advices?
Hel vs Nyx? Opinions? I plan on PvE and ratting for the most part, but having the option to PvP would be nice. Go easy on me, I'm a newbean just working towards a carrier t.t
I'd recommend the Hel, one of the best Supers for PvE and can refit to PvP fairly well. Of course in a shield super/titan you have to be careful of neuts that could deactivate your hardeners. To combat this I usually fit a cap booster and usually have some sort of fax response just in case. In a fully PvE fit Nyx your EHP is absolutely atrocious, PvP fit it still suffers from being outperformed by the other supers EHP wise. In the Hel, you still get to have your 4 DDA's and DC in the lows along with a descent tank in the mids.
i have a question, tracking speed probably for missiles dmg. Which one better 2 tracknig speed or 1 opt 1 tracking? I did try with carrier but im not sure with super. Did you try ?
What does your average ticks look like? I have been using the psychotic clicking method and in a small empty system and without Dark blood and Dreads it's between 100-110. But I'm certainly gonna try your method once deployment is finished. Awesome video
I believe I have heard of AI changes in the future, something along the lines of implementing sleeper AI but I'm not sure (correct me if I am wrong). Even if they do, EVE players always find a way around it or find another ISK faucet to tap off of. I know they have increased AI aggro towards fighters and whatnot recently.
Yes I have used bombs, although I don't use them regularly due to the fact of the reload times of the bombs once you use the initial 3 on each Heavy Bomber, and also the extra level of micro needed to aim them.
i dont understand how you manage to not move your fighters, usually they are targeted and shot, I ALWAYS let my fighters Orbit something, moving targets are more difficult to hit as something staying dead in space. I also dont know why you are not bombing the Rockhavens, is it not the reason why ppl using Supers? Ok not if you are looting and salvaging after the Ano is done, since the bombs will destroy most of the wrecks too nice vid anyways, thx for sharing and thanks one more time for answering my questions at the end of the video :D :D :D
Any reason you don't use the orbit command on structure or ship? I'm just now getting into a hel but on my nid if I don't use orbit commands for my templars they get shot to shit.
Once you tell your fighters to attack something, it cancels the orbit command. It just adds another layer of complexity to an already complex system, so I don't bother. Unless I am in a normal Carrier, then you have to do either an orbit or recall command to keep them moving. In a Hel or really any Super for that matter you're killing stuff so fast it doesn't really matter.

With my friends we startet in Wh with 30 mil per hour after that we got omega switched into rattlesnakes(150 mil per hour) and from there into Mauraders(300 mil per hour), now we are ratting in wh space with naglfars and have around 2bil an hour (this we only do to get money for pvp in null) nowadays i own about 3 titans a fax alt a carrier alt and 2 normal pvp alt (one can fly freighters) so you can do it just seek for a corp that you have fun flying with and try making something together (and yes naglfar ratting alone brings you half) so people to fly with and if you are only 2 is fun o/ and fly safe
You can totally tell them to orbit, but it's a bit more complex then simply pressing "Shift R" and then telling them to attack something. I believe it comes down to personal preference.
Bring an mobile depot + full tank fit + full dps fit ( for the rat damage type ). When you see the dread => stop your carrier, drop the mobile depot and continue to kill the last wave. => refit to tank the dread and aply the dps , when the dread start focusing your fighters refit to max dps . After the last nerf this gonna take a while .
So far I dealt with dreads with just regular ratting fit with one repper in a carrier because they would switch between my fighters and me. Now they just keep shooting at my carrier, so single repper with one EANM isnt enough. You can either refit for tank or rewarp to the site @ ~300km (dont warp off after site is done completly, dread will warp off too).I always warp at 100 to the site. When I see a dread spawn, I dont kill last rat, warp at 100 with my alt to set a BM to then rewarp with my carrier. It actualy doesnt take long. 300 seems so far the sweet number. When I was sitting at 200 they still would apply full dps. About dpsing them, just stay with fighters on the dread. It might look like youre not breaking, but eventually you will. It takes about 8-10 mins before they run out of cap for repairs. Once you know youre breaking him, use missiles. Using them before is just wasting them.
Don't mind me, this is probably a good game. But this Video perfectly visualized one of my complaints. Where was this Supercarrier? All I saw was big Asteroid and flickering icons.
Yeah I get it, I play this game and I love the way the ships look so I usually stay zoomed in, but sometimes zooming out so you can get a full grasp of the battlefield is necessary. As a viewer, it's kinda lame but as a player, it's pretty necessary.

Getting an Apoc as an alpha? Nice. And yeah, once you've done over 500+ Havens you don't really care about the loot too much, unless it's a faction spawn or something.

Because there has to be a carrot at the end of the stick for nullsec. It's the reward (that CCP is trying as hard as they can to nerf out from under us) for holding space and keeping it secure.
Yea I agree. These sites need a gate to stop carriers from ratting in them... i think if you are going to ratt In an overpowered carrier, you should only be able to do ones designed for carriers.

Yes this is in Nullsec. With the new update Alpha clones can utilize everything up to battleships, even the faction ones which is pretty neat. As well as small/medium T2 guns. In the video I'm using a Super-Carrier called a Hel, it's a capital ship which only Omega pilots can fly and it requires extensive skills to pilot effectively. I am an Alpha Clone and I spent the past 18:43 not knowing what the fuck I was looking at.
forget hel or nyx it takes u 270 days just to pilot it and another 100 days more or less just to kill npc
then dont do what hes doing do something thats more atune to ur skill lvl
i fly with it in 2months (5months omega combined) and first month im training for NVI (i farmed for injectors with 3 NVI)

Brutuszilla I mapped a side button on my mouse to ctrl so all I have to do is hold the button and click the targets on the overview. So, Ctrl+Click.
