Sad, but great video. I'm an A Tean fanatic & love Murdock. He's so sad to see his best friend injured. They need to bring these guys back, with Mr T in a special episode, with them playing themselves. 30 years on. Be absolutely amazing!
imho one of the best dramatic episode....i watched years ago and i remember all of this frantic struggle to save face...the worry of hannibal glare at the end of this video, the panic .....
Well now. I know the A-Team inside and out and am an avid fangirl. Also a fan of Murdock's darker, angsty side. This combination of video, sound clips, and music made me ugly cry just a bit. Well done.
Great video though very sad that Face almost died but really happy that he survived thanks to Frankie & especially Murdock's quick response medical attention that they gave Face right after he was shot reacting & taking care of Face as fast as they did there's no doubt that Frankie and Murdock definitely saved Face' s life here . Honestly i had no idea that Murdock had any medical training but Murdock had to of had some sort of medical training at some point to take care of Face as well as he did in this episode..
Yes, Murdock definitely knew what he was doing, which was lucky for Face! I bet Murdock saw some gunshot wounds in Vietnam, so he might have picked up what he knew from there. But it was still hard to know if Face would make it through in the end - I was really glad when Hannibal and BA showed up to help too.
@@fangirlmixtape yes I was definitely glad when Hanabail & B.A. finally showed up I actually just recently watched this episode & it was so sad & emotional seeing Face hurt that bad it almost seemed to be in slow motion. I kept thinking when is Hannibal & B.A finally going to get there to help and is Face going to survive until they get there. Waiting & waiting then they finally showed up. And then after they finally got the upper hand on those baddies & took them out for good wow the look of worry afterwards on Haniabail & B.A's faces after seeing how badly shot Face was definitely was sad & emotional . So I was really happy at the end of the episode once they finally showed us that Face had survived. Sad but a great brotherhood episode seeing how Murdock took care of Face & then him & the rest of the team eventually saving Face & everyone else in the restaurant. Thanks for sharing .
@@fangirlmixtape If Murdoch was a chopper pilot it stands to reason he probably had medic training. At least basic first aid as was given in the service at the time.
@@fangirlmixtape I'm sure every member of a commando team had field medic training, less than a doctor but a lot more than basic first aid, plus the hands-on experience they all got in Vietnam. Murdock also piloted some medi-vac helicopters in Vietnam picking up the wounded from the field, so he's no stranger to major injuries.
I thought they stopped selling in July or August of 1985 because from August 1985 until December 1986 I didn't see any A Team action figures in the stores
There are some other episodes where in some scenes (or moments) Murdock was quite serious, but none quite like this. I always love it when Murdock is serious because the change-of-pace further deepens his character (and shows how much range Dwight Schulz really has).
The final season changed the timbre of the series with them becoming un-paid mercs instead of merely soliders of fortune. And this is indeed only the 2nd episode where someone is shot and dying. First time was Murdoch himself where somewhere in the 2nd season. He jumps in front of a bullet meant for Hannibal. It was also where BA has to give him blood b/c they share the same type. The antagonism between BA and Murdoch was highlighted as a deep friendship though.
@@xxlCortez It would have been nice to have closure but I think they were kinda done with the series at this point. Later 1980s sorta ended the cartoonish "western-style" violence on TV era too. Knight Rider, AirWolf, and buddy cop shows (Cagney & Lacy and Hunter) that showcased theme this ended in late 1980s. More family friendly shows started coming on the air. MacGuyver for example. *specifically non-voilent problem solving* and Quantum Leap not too long later. They would have had to modify A-Team to compete and that was not gonna happen as those stunts and the guns were staple of the show.
I liked this episode. I enjoyed watching the a team. But what a lot of people don't know is that is episode was a similar plot to a Starsky and Hutch episode. I forget the season and episode. Any fan of both shows would agree
Great job and great intention. I agree on your comments in the descriptions! I wish I could see more vids like these! Small suggestion if I may: It would be perfect with transcripts on screen when the words aren't very clear, especially for non native speakers! Thank you for your work!
Thank you!! And that's a great suggestion - some of the lines are kind of muffled. I'll create subtitles or something so there's a transcript for whoever wants it.
Faceman did not die in this episode , yeah he was shot but they were able to get him to a hospital in time but he recovered, they way this video clip is set up thinking Faceman died
Questo pomeriggio ho visto che l'A-Team non lo davano in onda.O Dio non lo programmano più?Vi prego lottiamo...lottiamo insieme...tutti per che su tuenty Seven lo diano in onda..Vi prego ragazzi
Zelda Aclone I remember 2 episodes where he got shot. The one you’re referring to is called “Curtain Call” season 2, episode 23. He also got shot in the season 4 finale, “The Sound Of Thunder”.
George Peppard made the role of Hannibal *his* right down to the custom brand of cigars that were his own personal brand. Liam Neeson did a great job of stepping into the role of Hannibal but nobody will be George Peppard's version. Nobody. If you like George Peppard in The A-Team check out his earlier TV series Banacek. Like Hannibal he has a great catch phrase "there's an old Polish proverb that says...." A mystery show with the usual plot "how'd they steal that ?". The twist is he's not a detective but playboy independent insurance investigator who makes "10% of what the insurance company does NOT pay out". A great show sadly only 16 episodes were made.
James Coburn was the original choice. But I think George Peppard made him more of a leading man action type than the more character driven James Coburn.
J'adore Sète série dommage que baucou de personne l'oublie j'aurais bien aimé de savoir si murdock et son ami fenix sont toujours amis et en bonne santé merci beaucoup abt ille de la réunion française bisous
I'm thinking the new century (we are currently in) will eventually have free Non Christian democratic countries enjoying a radically more peaceful existence, without guns and gun violence, in their communities. 🌝 🌚 🔮 ♟️🖕😎
My all time favorite
The A Team
I grey up watching
I still love to watch these and never get tired

Murdoch and Face are definitely my favorites! This video is awesome! Thanks!

Jennifer Curtis Thanks so much for the comment. It's so sad to think how devastated Murdock would have been if he couldn't save Face.

My gosh i loved the A team when i was a kid in the 80's, I got the A team action figures for Christmas 1986

I rewatched a lot of these in 2004
As a kid in the 80s I watched this, but I never saw face getting shot
That was shocking!
Murdoch was pissed
Probably the best episode of the last season
This, and the one where Face unexpectedly meets his birth father and half-sister.
The first i saw murdock being very serious

A-Team is the best! love Murdock!
Anyone would be sad to to see friends or family hurt like that
I love the two guys in this video
NOOOOOOOO NOT FACE at least he survived tho
That episode was rather dark after all the shootings without injuring anyone throughout the show.

Face got shot by Mills Watson ( Deputy Perkins from the Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo)
This one was sad. I really thought he was gonna die the first time I saw this when I was a kid.
I was 9 but didn't watch until my Dad started watching they reruns from 1987 until his death in 2019
