That's what I wanted to hear. My daughter ran a red light making a left turn in Tampa and she was worried about points on her license and her Insurance going up. Now i know is cheaper to pay $158. than paying a traffic lawyer. Thank you for the Information.

Hi, I was with a rental car in Florida and avis sent an affidavit. So they email me a uniform citation, 265 dollars, So should I request a hearing so they may lower down to the original 158 ? Also the red light camera showed several cars going through the red light.

Hi. I just received a violition tickets on a stop light. I can clearly remember what happened..it was in Haines city and im running 40 over a 45 limit. Just when i was a few meter away the yellow light flashed and a few seconds only it turned red, i slowed down the moment i saw the yellow light but i can't stop abruptly coz i have with me the 2 tier cake. So i stopped in the middle of the intersection and backed up towards the white lane. I decided to fight this in court. Any suggestions?
If a pay in full the traffic red light ,I still have to appear at the court day? How much is the possibility of dismiss and they revoke my license? My first time happened to me , I do not received the ticket by mail and plus I was move already of the current address then the police run my plate and he stop me for that give me the citation for court . And a ticket for to update my address that was the reason I do no receive the mail. Consequences… I did pay already the ticket for no change of address and start paying for the red light ticket. I really anxious about the court day .
What about if there was no signs of photo enforced in the intersection?

I was not driving the vehicle. And I live in another state, so court is not really an option for me. I filled out paperwork stating someone else was driving but I continue to get letters saying I have to pay. The amount is up to $356.25. Do I have any options?
Did you fill out the paperwork after it became a ticket? If so, you need to request a court date, submit the affidavit of compliance with the clerk of courts, and when your court date is scheduled, attend and explain the situation!

what happens if you get a final administration order with the violation upheld? and you want to go to a real court to fight it?
Ashton, great question! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing what happened here is that you, or the person that received the notice of violation, filled out the "request for hearing" on the notice and sent it out. However, if you wanted to contest it in court, the notice should have been ignored so that a citation would been issued. Unfortunately, because an administrate hearing was requested instead, there is little you can do now to reverse it.
@@TicketFit Thank you, Yes that is correct, I thought the "hearing" was an actual court hearing not a BS ticket racket "hearing" so Now I am stuck paying the $300, although on the final notice it does say you may appeal it, there is just no instructions on how to appeal.
@@ashtonabe1797 I know! How convenient for them not to explain the difference between requesting an administrative hearing vs a traffic court hearting. Although you can appeal an administrative hearing, the cost of that appeal + potential additional cost if the outcomes doesn't change may outweigh the savings you will get at this point, if that makes sense.
I stop at the red light right on time but where the pedestrian cross the streets and I still got a ticket of $150. It clearly shows on the video I stop not at the line but I didn't go in the intersection. I got another ticket two weeks ago for turning right on the red light and I'm scared it will be against me and I will have to pay more. Help From Virginia

I would like to know the answer to that question as well. When the light turned red, I was unable to stop as I was right under the light.
@@1982aeb If you had already passed the "stop line" on the road, it is unlikely you got cited, as the light is triggered by that line.

Can't one use the 6th amendment to get out of it? Have the right to face your accuser. Cant bring in camera to court
Unfortunately, not in Florida. If you were not the driver you can transfer liability by completing the "non owner affidavit." Otherwise, they issue the ticket to the registered owner of the car. They can still be challenged on other grounds though!
