  • Hello everybody ,
today's video is a new method I am trying to beat the heat with the more delicate plants. I say this on Instagram and thought I would try it and share it!
You can do this for in ground, containers and raised bed gardening.
we'll check back later to see how we did.
    stay safe !

I’m with you! Humidity and heat - hard to breathe! Love that you recycle and repurpose 👍

This is exactly what we are suppose to do. Find another use for plastic that will keep out of landfill. Thanks for sharing. Following😊

How does the water not evaporate from the string before getting to water

@@travelingva well this is an experiment but so far it's been very minimal. Any evaporation has been from the jug vs the cotton string, even in the sun. My guess is two factors..one is that it's 100% cotton yarn and the fibers from the yarn are just really holding onto moisture, and or two...the plants do shade the yarn partially. Unfortunately it rained so I'll have to wait for our next dry stretch to really give a better update on that. Great question 😎

So interesting. We are going to need an update on the yard drip irrigation!

@@OneMound1 hopefully by the end of the day just to see how far the water has gone through the yarn!! Definitely keep everyone posted!

I bet it would work if every plant got its own bottle

@@OneMound1 maybe, I think the container ones would do well with that.
