Parents and baby’s are also covered for Dental by OHIP if a child is under 12 years old
Diapers and formula i remember we had to take-home..hospital doesn't provide. Only one diaper they provided once baby is delivered.

Thanks for sharing this video. I have a question on other OHIP or employer insurance benefits. Can I also be covered on OHIP if I visit a specialist like Gynaecologist or Dermatologist directly without family doctor intervention?
It depends on the clinic frankly. Most of them need a referral from family doctor but there could be some who have availability to accept patients directly. Better check by calling them, good luck!
But would the specialist service also be free i.e covered under OHIP plan?

I am without health card... Work permit extension not yet come and no previous health card so How can I get the benefit... I am 6 month pregnant and throughout I have been paying for my medical test and now for delivery I don't have Gynaecologist and I have no idea about charges to be paid... Please reply

Hi @Canada Couple Vlogs, thanks for sharing this information. We have been told in prenatal classes that diapers, formula milk and other stuff may not be provided in Ontario. Is it the case? Are the child benefits also payable in case of Work visa?
Ahh! They expect you to bring everything for sure but do provide for first day at least, rest it depends from hospital to hospital. And temporary residents can also claim ccb
Formula they provide free of cost till the time baby is in the hospital. Diapers they dont.
I delivered the baby last month in ontario, so its as per my exp.

1. Can we get the CCB amount (post delivery) along with the EI maternity benefit ?
2. Additionally, you mentioned that CCB value is determined on the basis of family income. So for the calculation purpose of CCB, do we include EI maternity benefit in the family income or will it just be the spouses income.
It’ll be great if you can share some insight on this.
