Hello Mr Hart. Fantastic lesson. Very detailed. It's perfect for a beginner who is working towards it becoming an intermediate guitarist. With a little more speed and a lot more finesse I can see that door opening for myself. And it's all to your fantastic teachings. Most of all is for your love of the guitar.. thank you very very much ✌️💜🕊️
thanks for this Howard, i will defo learn it watching your vid, your string sound is one of the cleanest ones around... its the fifth song Im learning form you.. taverymuch...cheers
Thanks! I looped/ put the 2 parts of the verse together, and sent it to my brother for his bday. I think it sounded alright on humbuckers, blues driver, and a Marshall practice Amp. Lol fun.
Thanks for this great lesson! I'm curious as to how you're getting that sound, are you using an octaver or are you able to get it with a digital delay maybe?
For this video, I recorded the basic backing track, then played live over the top, so I could capture both parts... Making the tutorial a bit more complete :-)
Goin thru some of your lessons.. Brilliant, clear and easy to follow... You're a great teacher..... Much appreciated and thank you for doin these.. Request if i may.. Solo,'s and maybe the whole songs for Eric Claptons parts on Roger waters songs " sexual revolution and pros and cons".... Thank you
Well, Thanks. I've heard an extra A note in the main lead after you stretch the 7th note; wondered where that came from. I saw that in the lower position. But also in the 10th and 12th position I hear that root note D and E coming through also. How are they playing that? Thanks, Ken. Hope you can hear what I'm talking about - of course, you can.
I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to. But I'm guessing that what you're hearing is coming from the lower octave guitar part. There is a sneaky little double stop in the riff, which captures the notes you mentioned... It's really cool, and creates a kind of "doubling" effect. Thanks for watching :-)

@@247GuitarwithHowardHart Got it! 👍 Thanks Howard.
If you were playing an acoustic to this lead would be doing anything other than just playing chords?
Sounds like you are using compressor pedal for that tight sound ?
