Thinking about it, they missed out on a GOLDMINE. Instead you have angry kids wanting a product many parents (rightfully) think are poison.
Hydration drinks, not energy drinks. And the chocolate is pretty no brainer. It's a simple chocolate, which is a treat. Kids like treats, adults indulge FAR too much in treats. If anything, my ass would be more likely to want this than some random kid. And it's just food. Obviously, if you're only feeding your kid this and nothing else, then it's not going to be great for them. But, I guess parents suck at parenting nowadays, so it's up to corporations to do their job for them, just like the iPads and phones. Oh wait. Do not just buy the lie that a long and complicated nutrition label means something sinister is going on, otherwise we continue the stereotype that conservatives are ignorant - study the data behind the ingredients. You may be surprised by what you find! 💚
Mr. Beast had such a huge chance to make a difference in kids' health, but instead he puts his candy bar in a lunch along with Logan Paul's energy drink. Ultra processed sugar on top of ultra processed sugar along with a "main dish" with ultra processed meat and you have a meal devoid of any nutritional value. Zero whole fruits or vegetables. Zero unprocessed protein. Just sugar, fat, and preservatives. As a medical student I'm very worried about the future of our nation's children. They eat these horrible, unbalanced, processed meals and become addicted. They're glued to screens all day and get no physical activity. They become fat, lazy, and depressed. Parents, don't buy these for your kids. Teach them how to live a healthy lifestyle from a young age. Feed them organic fruits and vegetables and make them exercise.
I feel like I have to defend my company, so, for the record, it's not an energy drink. Prime Energy and Prime Hydration are two distinctly different products. and unless they changed the formula specifically for the Lunchly bottles, there is 1g of sugar per bottle, which I am assuming stems from the coconut water. I haven't looked into Lunchly's ingredients too much though I know for the cheese we are apparently getting it directly from farmers. Not sure what constitutes "processed" to be honest.
@@timhonks-oz8rs While the drink is indeed low in sugar, that's because it has the synthetic sweetener sucralose instead of sugar. I did review the meats and cheese, and you're right, they are not as processed as I initially thought, but some ingredients like the pizza crust, crackers, and queso sauce contain seed oils and gums for example. But the biggest problem with Lunchly isn't the ingredients, it's the fact that it has very little nutritional value. Again, no fruits or vegetables besides pizza sauce and salsa. If Lunchly contained the same pizza but instead of chocolate and Prime it had carrots and unsweetened fruit juice, there would be far less complaints.

This makes me appreciate my childhood school even more. I never appreciated how good we had it back then. At my school, food being sold at the cafeteria were always freshly cooked. In the morning, you'd see the kitchen staff cooking chicken, beef, sometimes pork. We had all sorts of dishes from roasted chicken to fried, we had steak, the pork would sometimes be roasted or become part of a delicious soup dish. There was also pizza, but just small round palm sized ones, but it had real ingredients and was always freshly baked. We also had all sorts of sandwiches. Club sandwich, chicken or fish sandwiches, sometimes we also had actual burgers. It was like that every day, the menu didn't stay the same. Sometimes there would be spaghetti with actual meatballs. For home economics class, everyone learned to cook and we went to the school's kitchen to watch and practice cooking. I knew other schools weren't like ours, but whenever I see pictures of school food from this generation, it's usually some kind of dead pizza that's just cheese on top, some dead mashed potatoes, a few pieces of carrots, some weird candy (since when did candy become lunch?) or some other depressing food item. Those "lunchables" remind me of bad school food.

Chemicals being difficult to pronounce does not make them unhealthy or bad -- just about everything in the world has a chemical name. I wish the people criticizing this product would go more in-depth into explaining the unhealthy or harmful ingredients used in it instead of making these very surface-level reactionary criticisms that don't help anyone. I just went through each ingredient in the list. Several ingredients are concerning or at least questionable in regards to human health: - D-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (called "Vitamin E" on the label but is actually a form of vitamin E that is less useful to the body and might be linked to pulmonary diseases when vaporized) - ester gum (questionable, barely researched) - folic acid (questionable) - potassium sorbate (questionable) - vegetable shortening (unhealthy, childhood obesity) - sodium benzoate (probably the worst one on the list; when combined with about 3 other common food additives, it produces benzene which is linked to cancer) Some of the other ingredients are generally considered healthy, but when combined with plainly unhealthy ingredients and so many synthetic compounds, it's unclear how much benefit the "healthy" ingredients would even have at that point.
What’s sad is that my younger siblings are to come home from school saying “MOM THERES A NEW LUNCHABLE!!!” (this type thing happened when PRIME came out) even though I know my mom won’t buy them my siblings and thousands of other kids will ask for them. Also 8:04 DanTDM is pronounced Dan-T-D-M 👍
TBH the ingredients in Lunchables seem more toxic than theirs. I'm not saying it's healthy, but I don't think it's worse than an actual Lunchables. To be fair you should show the side by side comparison of ingredients of both products.
@@QwidgyboMan The point of their product wasn't to make something healthier. It was to make something similar to compete. I think they achieved their goal.
Because you're not being fair. I just did a quick search and found this. ruclips.net/video/m9vRFoLbVDE/видео.html an American doctors opinion on the matter. While he still considers it unhealthy, he concedes that it does have less sugar, sodium, and saturated fat. It also does have some added vitamins that lunchables do not. Again, not a healthy option, but they are correct when they say it is "healthier" than lunchables. You see how I'm backing up my argument with facts? Let's see the problems with that ingredient list: Drink - artificial sweeteners (the rest of those long words are vitamins) Pizza crust - the shortening and oils are bad, also monoglycerides (the vegetable gums and preservatives are considered safe in low amounts but that depends on how much you trust the FDA...) Cheese - looks fine Perperoni - We can't see that list but since its uncured they tend to be healthier. Overall, not actually THAT bad (assuming all of the ingredients listed are decent quality). It's certainly not the best for your health but there is nothing in these foods that isn't in 95% of everything else you buy in the store. Is it still a problem? Yeah, but not really more than 95% of other quick meals people get from your local Walmart. Should we fix it? Of course, but I still think people are totally overreacting to this.
its not just the food . kids these days do not get enough exercise. they sit in front of a pc and play games all day. when i was a kid i did not have a pc or a game system until i was 15 .
Exercise doesn't eliminate the damage from bad food, it hides it. Kids do need exercise, but not the boring way of pushing them into a sport they don't want to play or just telling them to go outside and do something. They will only resent you for making them bored.
What really gets me is prime being an energy drink, and they're trying to get kids to consume it. What 10yro do you know wakes up and brews a cup of Joe? I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 21.
Making profit off the poor health of Americans, young or old, has been the name of the food game for so long that this doesn't even surprise me. It's so sad that I left the states to travel the world as a digital nomad a year ago. Since then, I've shed 35 lbs and am the healthiest I've felt in 20 years. Make America Healthy Again
I’m going to be honest those ingredients are relatively healthy or at least not necessarily unhealthy. Most of the things you can’t pronounce are simply long names for vitamin E, B6,A and B12. The things that could be healthier are replacing artificial sweeteners with just regular sugar, but a lot of drinks use sweeteners. And also the preservatives, but it’s a pre made lunch so it has to preserve itself longer. Idk how much healthier you could make this.
I don't think that's the problem. People are angry because they are selling it as a better for you option which is definitely not true considering it has feastables and prime which were criticized for being too sweet. Moreover their products are targeted towards which is extremely unhealthy for kids and ironical as Jimmy portrays himself as a 'good human by heart' and still selling obesity to kids
Little fun fact about these men: they care about their own health. They have private chefs that make them actual healthy food and workout. They post videos of themselves eating chicken breast with a side of broccoli. I feel like it makes the whole situation even worse

Those same chemicals preexist in your own body. The only problem with using excess amounts above a normal amount is that it throws off your body's own chemical settings, and can become dependant on it and won't produce it naturally. But, again, your body uses the exact same chemicals. Your entire body consists of chemicals, quite a few of which are toxic to you if they ever leave their designated areas.

Of course, I wouldn't expect a person who immediately resorts to ignorance to understand that kind of pain, that kind of self hatred, that anger and rage that pushes a kid to almost kill themselves because they feel unloved. The kind of hurt that only Jesus can save you from.
But sure, just laugh it off. It's funny. Stay willingly stupid.

Mr. Beast has gone completely mask off. He knows he can get away with anything and he will still have adoring fans
Sad at this point 😢
@timhonks prime hydration is filled with potassium and sugar not near enough salt it’s a sugar drink for kids it doesn’t hydrate you at all just stop
@@timhonks-oz8rsAn energy drink made with mostly sucralose is a start.

The best example for this was the "me too" movement... not that sexual harassment is a joke, it's not... but it all started with actresses who said that they were "forced to" sleep with Harvey Weinstein to get roles... what Weinstein did was 100% immoral and he was a predator but none of the actresses "had to" do it... they CHOSE TO DO IT... if they were truly moral they would say 'no thank you" and they would go get a job that is not acting... go look up an actress called Ashley Judd... she was going big up until 2000-2001 and then she vanished... why? Cause she simply refused to become a whore for Weinstein and said "fuck that, I don't need you to survive" and her Hollywood career was pretty much over in terms of stardom (for reference she's the president's wife that dies in the beginning of Olympus has Fallen).

Several ingredients are concerning or at least questionable in regards to human health:
- D-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (called "Vitamin E" on the label but is actually a form of vitamin E that is less useful to the body and might be linked to pulmonary diseases when vaporized)
- ester gum (questionable, barely researched)
- folic acid (questionable)
- potassium sorbate (questionable)
- vegetable shortening (unhealthy, childhood obesity)
- sodium benzoate (probably the worst one on the list; when combined with about 3 other common food additives, it produces benzene which is linked to cancer)
Some of the other ingredients are generally considered healthy, but when combined with plainly unhealthy ingredients and so many synthetic compounds, it's unclear how much benefit the "healthy" ingredients would even have at that point.
Right? Dihydrogen monoxide would scare people but call it by it's common name and it's realized as a normal drink.

I thought your mom just didn't allow your house to have bad artificial foods at your house. But I guess that would be too sane for her.
Let's see the problems with that ingredient list:
Drink - artificial sweeteners (the rest of those long words are vitamins)
Pizza crust - the shortening and oils are bad, also monoglycerides (the vegetable gums and preservatives are considered safe in low amounts but that depends on how much you trust the FDA...)
Cheese - looks fine
Perperoni - We can't see that list but since its uncured they tend to be healthier.
