@@TomJacobW I like challenging and well-balanced experiences, and Rumble Run had the deepest strategy by far. Narrowing down the final 2 bosses to build towards one at a time is great design. I have gotten every single crown in Heroic Dalaran Heist and Heroic Tombs of Terror and have beaten Rumble Run with every shrine, if that lends some credence to my understanding of what it takes to consistently beat these modes.
I also like how fleshed out each of the characters are, with them all having custom responses to each of your emotes, even “sorry”.
I’m a big fan of both cookies & cream and mint chocolate chip, though I’m aware some people don’t like mint desserts because they associate mint with things mint is used on (kind of like when people associate cherry with medicine)

8 guesses on how many of those words rhyme. What a great language
that and the great vowel shift. I love languages where i isn’t [i], e isn’t [e], a isn’t [a], u isn’t [u] etc. 🫠
Especially great when you hear how mangled latin words are in english because of that, or how many transliterations don’t work organically but have to be read by the English speaker in a way the vowels actually sound like (which one needs to have learned/know beforehand!); Japanese transliteration for instance.
Always fun to see Dungeon runs on youtube nowadays, sometimes I feel like the only person in the world still regularly playing these :)

I love the dungeon runs!!! Playing against people is so anxiety inducing plus I don't want to start getting into spending money on packs. Doing dungeons is so much better!!! Right now im trying to beat Dalaran chapt. 1 with bomb warrior!! It is so hard 😅
@@alizah8042 so far I have beat heroic dalaran, heroic tombs, monster hunt, heroic karazhan, and 7 out of 9 classes on traditional dungeon run

@@IplayTeemoasaWard Where can you check those stats? I play dalaran heist more than anything else in HS, but I still haven't even finished the normal version with every class :D
I really hope he will continue this at some point. I love dalaran heist, even though my experience is exactly the same: 7 games relatively easy and then the eighth one f**ks me over with rng. Still, the mechanics are more diverse than in dungeon run but still pve (in contrast to duels), it just was the best time :D
It might be bias because I've just got better but I feel like that AI for the dungeon runs got worse over time, it tends to make weird plays and target it's own stuff with removal nowadays
Hey, as someone who plays dungeon run every other day for 3 years, i can vouch. At some point the Ai lost the ability to save itself from lethal damage on board and started suiciding with weapons way too offen. Its a shame really
It also seems like it will just go face a lot and hand you the win a lot of the time

This is the adventure which got me into the game- definitely my favourite thing even now
The heist was literally the reason I first got into hearthstone, really wish they did more with some of the characters (by which I mean the mercs hired by E.V.I.L.). I mean, FFS, I loved these guys and there's literally one for every class, and yet only Vessina and Tekhann get to be legendary cards for their respective classes?
Oh but the mercenaries from barrens get to be legendary minions, (several) hero portraits, hero cards AND quest rewards?? EUDORA CAN'T EVEN BE PLAYED OUTSIDE OF HEIST AND BATTLEGROUNDS!

I enjoyed Dalaran Heist, Witch Wood Hunts and Kobolds expeditions, that is too bad... (Uldum a bit less, perhaps because there is not much point repeating them)
Witchwood hunt is slept on imo, I love the final battle
Saviors of Uldum....you talking about Tombs of Terror? Not much point repeating them?? Dude the replay value on it considering there are only 4 heroes to choose from is insane, between the different hero powers, treasure cards, encounters, card & synergy variety because dual classes, and epic boss battles. The super huge boss fights that really let your entire deck show off is probably my favorite thing they ever did in a Dungeon Run format, the (I think) third one where everything had Reborn and the boss would keep reviving minions produced some of the most insane games of Hearthstone I've ever played, and I've played a LOT since the game first came out.
If you just one-and-done'd it and never played enough to unlock the other decks, hero powers, and treasure cards you don't know what you were missing, I literally played TOT more than any other Dungeon Run adventure and that's saying a LOT, at one point it was even all I logged in to play.
@@lxnely07 I agree Witchwood is very good and underappreciated. I know when it came out I was a bit disappointed about the low number of heroes, but I eventually realized it was more about quality over quantity, and hoped they would continue to develop more original ideas like that for Dungeon Run, which they did. I feel like Tombs of Terror was all of the potential Witchwood had fully realized, though. I really believe it was Dungeon Run perfected. But you're right that Witchwood really took the format for a spin. The Rogue that generated random cards was especially fun.

It's just HS lore so it doesn't matter much but it's supposed to be played Heist->Tombs->Galakrond as a trilogy. No wonder he had no clue what was going on in Galakrond's Awakening, he missed the first chapter.

You can actually break the AI a lot which will result in them not playing a card and passing turn. In my experience it’s something to do with the extra turn effect.
i broke hearthstone, gave enemy a zero cost repeatable spell and they wont stop casting it. it transforms friendly minions into random legendaries but they have no minions
Part of the issue is English's taking from other languages
For example the reason the plural for moose isn't meese is because moose is the native name for them
English is a crazy language. It can be understood through tough thorough thought though.
