Today there are millions of choices for shows, "channels to watch". Each person can find their own niche whereas before we collectively watched the same show even though we are all vastly different. That is the difference in writing. Even though there are many choices, most of them fall short in one aspect or another to each person watching. RUclips for one allows for a show for everyone.

That's how he was "officially" written off of the show and frankly never mentioned again . . . Something similar happened on the Series Family Matters -- what happened to the younger Sister? I don't even remember her name -- that's how short-lived her character was -- she just disappeared one day without anyone saying nary a word! Very weird I say -- very weird indeed!!
