We should have some games down in buffalo next year as a thank you to the city. And not preseason games, they deserve maybe a regular season series for what buffalo has done for the Jay's these past 2 years!

I miss my Blue Jays up here in Toronto… but I love that Buffalo is holding it down in the meantime and that you all love them as much as we do. I also love the fact Bo is your favorite player and you bought a Bichette jersey, because he’s also my favorite player and I also have a Bichette jersey...or two... anyway, it doesn’t matter how many jerseys we have, what matters is that a Leafs fan and a Sabres fan can actually come together with a mutual interest, so take good care of them while you’ve got them. 🦬🐦 Love that field in Buffalo too… God I miss baseball.
Oh for reference, the Ok Blue Jays song was first released in 1983. The Jays wanted something fun & different to play during the 7th inning stretch & it actually became a Gold Record at one point lol it's one of the cooler things about my hometown Jays that I love, no other team (until I think recently) does it & it's awesome. Its also helped wake the crowd up, especially if we're being bombed out lol I've literally been to games where we were down & a couple players got out of the dugout singing along. Seeing how Buffalo has supported our Blue Jays convinces me we should have a few home games there every year after the pandemic is over.
Cool to see the Buffalo Fans experience a MLB game. Great little stadium with room to expand like a MLB park. Reminds me of Vancouver Canadians games at Natbailey Stadium in Vancouver.

As a baseball fan and a Canadian the Jays are all we have for MLB action. It was tough losing the expos but the Jays are always entertaining regardless of where they are in the standings and they brought back to back world series championships to Canada in the 90s so I they'll always be my team

I agree OK Blue Jays is really cheesy but it's part of their tradition from the early 80's when they first started evolving from bottom dwellers. I love crossing the border to go to Buffalo. I'd like to see the Blue Jays do some spring training games in Buffalo just before the season starts. Most Canadian fans don't have the time to travel to Florida.
Getting to your first professional sports event post Covid shutdown from last year has to be one of the best feelings ever. I got to a Mariners game in Seattle last month. And man, it was awesome just being in a stadium again with a few thousand people. Glad you got out to see something. Especially for the Jays to be stopping in town. And congrats to you guys winning the draft lottery. Richly deserved.

I'm actually hoping that it ends soon so I can go down and see our boys play! I'd also like to point this out: Buffalo has a minor league team for us, but the response from Buffalo fans to the Jays convinces me that MLB erred in not rewarding Buffalo a franchise. Maybe I'm alone but I honestly believe the city could support one. As it stands, I'm grateful to you guys. Also, on the topic of toxic Leafs fans? Screw 'em. It was really nice to hear fans cheering for the Blue Jays at a home game, Dunedin has been terrible. On TV, the games in Dunedin sounded like they were filled with the other teams fans mostly, but last night and tonights games actually sounded like home games.

Great to see you back on board Mel with the Jays. One thing I did see on the TV coverage of this game was all the cool upgrades done to the stadium. Eventually when life returns to normal the Bisons will have great major league level facilities to enjoy at the Triple A level for their fans and players. I know some Buffaloians(?) thought we were gonna steal the team, but that was never even close to happening. I mean, the dome is not a suitable football stadium and we were never close to building one.. and you guys are hosting the Jays so we can get our shit together with covid. Toronto is also filled with Bills fans, so it's cool to see Buffalo supporting the Jays.

The marlins have a massive aquarium behind home plate, a huge pavillion in right field and a park in center field. The jays have a hotel inside their stadium with a retractable roof. On this day they played eachother in a regular season game in a stadium without outfield seating next door to an interstate highway. In 93 the bisons were in line to become a major league franchise but colorado built their minor league team a new stadium and the rockies were born and the bisons continue to play in that same stadium 30 years later

6m55 a talk about the "OK Blue Jays" song. Well from '85 to '93 I went to many games at Exhibition Stadium and Skydome and loved the song with BJ Birdie on the 3rd base dugout. Ontario is about 35 trillion over protective right now which sucks but is at it is.

The one thing I remember about pilot field. We went up for a bruins playoff game and went to a afternoon game and in the third inning it started to snow and me and my friend said to rash other well we are in buffalo and the game got called.
BASEBALL!!!!! Now I'm in my element. Is you're ever in L A, you have to visit Dodgers Stadium. Either for a game or just to visit because they do keep a gate open for visitors to the Stadium Shop and they keep a top section open so you can sit and look over the the stadium and the ravine.

They made the end of game 2 way more interesting...the fans willed them into the win in game 2 I think ....was basically the reverse of what they did in a few games to blow and lose a game they had won
