Thank you sir for providing problem solving session because theory part is easy to understand but its application while solving problem is quite hard.

8:25 the solution provided holds for n greater than or equal to 3 only.
When n=2,
z^(n-1)=zbar gives z=zbar, which holds for the entire real line.
zbar means conjugate of z. Sorry I'm not sure how to put a z with a bar on top.
