Triumph tiger sport 660 alloy damaged
On the way from Jaipur to Jodhpur , it’s a 4 lane road where accidentally I hit a cement block which was on middle of the road resulting in bent alloy.
But luckily there was no air leaking
It’s a six month old triumph tiger sport 660.
Day 6 of the Rajasthan trip from Karnataka.

i expected this.. and not because triumph provides poor quality wheels. street triples in past have also come across this situations because the wheels are built light weight for performance. Unfortunately tiger takes the same wheels from trident 660 whose sturdiness is not a forte its built for a particular purpose i.e to be nimble and fast.

I don’t think so it is of poor quality(alloy).
It was a concrete brick and best thing is, I have not lost the balance and control.
It is soo strong that till today there is no vibrations or wobbling even in the high speeds.
Note: I’m not comparing them with spoke one😜

We believed Triumph has a premium quality products but showing the worst quality on mandatary parts , more or less 11 laks bike also proved the price tag is doesn't matter :-/ I seen this case in my friends bikes too, and insurance is covering to replace the alloy ,avail it when you back to home town .

Yeah insurance will cover it, but alloy quality is good.
U can’t help when u hit a big concrete block at speeds.
But as u said not all the parts some parts and fit and finish is not upto mark in tiger660

Like windshield is the worst part in this bike and some of the fitting of plastic parts like fairing doesn’t give u the premium finish and fit

Tweaking the way of riding can save even an poor alloy wheel.

It was all of a sudden , tried to avoid collision with my one of my mates and suddenly pulled it towards right and there is no time react. After crashing to the brick just able to control my handle wobble.
