@@rocioacostawalsh1554 They did indeed, but that unique sound from McKay and Morris was never to be repeated, and it was that sound that grabbed peoples' ( and mine) attention in the begining.
John McKay's sound and his songs are absolutely epic. I was just going to insult you, but there's really no point. If you don't get it, you don't. McKay defined the sound of the Banshees and McGeoch elaborated upon it. Both guitarists ineffably awesome in their own way.
@@Kris_P._Bey_Ken Exactly, but McGeoch was otherworldly. That said, I love McKay's work on The Scream and think that album is an all time classic especially for a debut effort!
Just amazing. She is a legend and so were these Banshees
I for one, simply loooooove this!
This was in Feb of 79 and Sept guitarist John McKay and drummer Kenny Morris walked out of the band, these two's contributions made the Banshee sound.
They were able to carry on without them though.

One dislike. How the hell could someone not like this?
it's now 3, two disgruntled band members and their mum
Original punks, they couldn't spit on her so they thumbed down in appreciation.

Yes. 'Join Hands' as well.
This is epic. Anyone know the name of the second song?
For the record, it's Folllies {with 3 L's ;-) }
Avec un Gilles Verlant encore quasi gamin...
Anyone know what the song is after Hong Kong Garden?
it's called Suburban Relapse & it's on the first album the Scream 1978
Oui, enfin bon, on n'est pas encore au niveau de 'Hyaena', c'est sûr.
Primitive siouxsie, not so good! 1980-1988 era...superb!!! But the face image etc etc of siouxsie, is great in this primit periode!!
Why does she look 60 something year old here? Not hating on her just an observation.
Wdym? She looks like a 21 year old punk to me.
Terrible guitarist. McGeoch saved and defined these amateurs

@@SimplyReg it's usually none musicians that don't get it. Even Jon valentine Caruthers was awesome!!!
