***I am aware of the error I made in not washing my hands after I handled the frozen chicken. I think that since they were frozen and didn't leave raw-meat-juice on my hands, and my nerves due to making my first video made me forget this very important step. So yes, I advise everyone to wash hands after touching raw meat. Please people, no need for the nasty name calling and messages. I am just a chick cooking in my kitchen and I am not perfect.

I've been a professional chef for 15 years, and a home cook for as long as I could use the stove....so its rare that cooking techniques blow my mind. But using the hand mixer to shred the chicken..... MIND BLOWN. lol. What a brilliant and unique technique for shredding chicken. That part always hurts my arthritic hands, so you just saved me so much pain! :) THANKS! Just goes to show, you can never stop learning.:)

The only problems with using a blender is that it is one more item to store away once cleaned and one more item to take up cabinet or shelf space. I just use two forks, myself, but I do like this idea, yet have no possible space left for an electric blender. :-)

This is my new favorite kitchen tool! Day 1 I was going to pressure cook a meat ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and potato stew, decided I wouldn't eat it that night so I went with a slow cook so I could go to bed and put it away in the morning. I love that versatility! The sauté feature works great and adds tons of extra flavor to dishes, and I can easily sizzle meats in the bottom then deglaze for some restaurant worthy flavors.Big bonus - you can cook a whole frozen chicken in about 2 hours. Amazing! I've seen a couple videos, haven't tried it yet, but I will soon!

This turned out suprisingly awesome. I added a bit of butter the the broth and seasoned it. After shredding the chicken, I threw a bit of the chicken back in the broth to taste and left and tasted the rest in the bowl. It turned out awesome. This instant pot will not replace every method, but it does a heck of a job with everything I have tried so far!

Yes people are so nasty about the whole cross contamination thing. They need to lighten up. You have provided a great service to us all, by taking the time to show us the beginning to the end results, which was by the way the best hack ever to shred them via the mixer. You're so smart! I am going to make this, but maybe quick release since I would want the pieces to be firmer and cube them to make chicken salad with mayo, sliced sweet onions, garnished with cashews, over cut up romaine lettuce. But I will definitely use your trick with the mixer! Thanks again!
