So these companies buy a ton of product at distributor pricing, open a bunch and remove anything with value, leave the rest sealed, and repackage it all for inflated prices. It's a good way to rid oneself of bulk and to sell to the unknowing person who goes to buy cards and most of everything else is out of stock or just don't understand what a terrible value it is. It is honestly disgusting.
Typically the bulk is from LGS, which gives them "foils" at pennies on the dollar, they're selling a dollar max of cards for 6 to 10 bucks.

I hate that you have to always be careful that someone doesn't try to fool you to buy stuff that doesn't have chance to have good pulls. I don't mind bulk because I like to collect all kinds of rarities but people don't by sealed/surprize stuff to not have a chance to pull something super good. I'm happy this kind of stuff isn't available where I live.
I would love it for kids to go into stores and just open it and walk away. Its disgusting that big box stores add gambling on top of gambling.

My son had his birthday party over the weekend and we made our own "packs". Made sure it had one energy, one trainer, eight common/uncommon, one reverse, and one rare holo/V type. Kids had fun opening them and trading.

We did the same for my son’s last birthday! I wanted to give out packs, but wanted to make sure each of them had at least one good pull.

The lightning packs from Fairfield weren't too bad a while ago. I found some that had 151 packs in them.

I brought 2 of the collectors mega box in the video. Have never been so perplexed and disappointed in opening something. Now I make sure to verify product first.
I love this channel and have just been pretending im opening the packs. The suspense is crazy for me and pokerev portrays it so well.

I got jipped on cards in one of those mini cardguard binders. I saw a guy I worked with previously with Pokémon cards up on Facebook marketplace for $20. The first 2 cards pictured were worth basically $20 raw themselves and I wasn't planning on buying them so I messaged him and let him know about those two cards. He said "meh guess someone's getting a deal, just sad they're still here they've been up for a week" so I felt bad and told him I'd buy them. He says he'll throw in some magic cards, I say that's chill, we meet up, I mention we know each other, he didn't remember at all which is fine, I pay him the $20 and get home and realize those two cards plus one are gone. 3 if the 5 pictured cards, all the full arts pictured, he took out. He took out like $22 in cards and left $60 in Pokémon and added $70 in Magic. Scummy and dumb. Not helping people again....

I think the card guard mini binder was likely the best item in the box lol. I use the full size ones for my set collections, they aren't too shabby.

I’m honestly still confused about how this style of mystery box is legal; it feels like it should violate some sort of copyright law.

I work at a target. During my shift I saw these new mystery boxes and was like what the heck those are new??? To my surprise, when I got home I saw Rev posted a video on the boxes! Glad I could check them out this way rather than buying them myself, because they definitely don't seem worth the $25 imo
