Woodford VT Spring Break 🏖️ 4-6-2024

Thankfully was able to enjoy riding over 500 sweet miles last weekend after the hills got over 8"-12" of new snow. Clearing DAR, Hawley & Monroe State Forests in MA before the storm paid off & rode DAR, Hawley & Monroe on Friday 4-5, Woodford on Saturday 4-6 & DAR & Hawley again Sunday 4-7 🌬️🌲🍃
Many thanks to the Woodford Snobusters and all who make riding possible, including the two young & spirited brothers we met at the bus on their hot Winder & F1100 Turbo. They graciously showed us newbies some awesome new trails & local tips. Ha, they also reminded us what fast can be, watch them both leave me in their boosted snowdust in a couple parts of this mashup vid. I deserved it after taunting them with "are you gonna let a senior citizen riding a 20 year-old sled with a 16" saw & heavy backpack beat you?"...so, they didn't! 🚀
Some of the day's highlights were riding the Corridor 7-F5 sweepers, as it follows the Roaring Branch River, and meeting Billy Joel at BN9! 🎹🐾
Got carried away with the fresh snow & new (to me) sled & depleted it's ten-gallon tank, sputtering to a stop exactly behind the trailer. Too close for comfort, fuel caddies just arrived for next time! ⛽
