Yeah, that's messed up...education isn't a bad thing. When I was these kid's ages I had a lot of questions. Going to Catholic school, I wasn't going to get any answers. Luckily, the older boys told me what's up. It's a weird time, and kids need answers.
In Catholic grade school the nuns had us make Mother's Day cards. The card included a "spiritual bouquet" (prayers listed by type and number for our moms). Our Fathers, Hail Mary's and "Ejaculations." We always laughed at that mention. (To the nuns ejaculations were short prayers such as "Jesus, Mary, Joseph" or "Jesus, help us" etc.)
My father had "the talk": with me when I was 13 - 1965. In hindsight that was pretty progressive. But he didn't cover wet dreams...I'd had several by then and secretly thought I'd become a bedwetter. The wet dreams stopped after I accidentally discovered masturbation - kept emptying the tank before it overflowed!
Putting all the social issues aside, I wonder if a film like this made today with the identical purpose and script would still say 'fourteen or fifteen years old' for the age that the boys' bodies are changing? Has the age of puberty changed measurably in 50-60 years?

When I was a senior in high school (1976), my gym coach would bring a metal chair in to the shower room, presumably to see for himself that we were all taking showers, which he insisted we all do. Two years later, I saw him in a gay club. West Babylon, where men are men. And little boys are nervous.
I'm about six or seven years older than you, in OUR locker room one of the coaches stood on a bench and stared into the showers during clean up time. Someone threw liquid soap in his eyes and it was quite the school wide scandal!
When all he had to do was make sure your hair was wet when you guys left the locker room for your next class, it's not difficult to tell. Man, some P.E. teachers were creepy 😬
I taught sex Ed when I was teaching. More info about different things. Drugs, STD’s hygiene, puberty, child birth. When it came down to it we taught about the mechanics of sex. When it came down to it we did not teach about the most natural thing people do. Masturbate. We laughed about it, but when you think about it, all this new knowledge and then these kids have no clue on what masturbation is. I could imagine the parents reaction if the suggestion was made that masturbation be added to the curriculum. Where I taught it would have been like the sixth seal was broken.

Damm, that cut it off at the good part!
Comparative proof that we have devolved and continue to devolve as a rational, educated society.
In todays world, the coach would be sent up for 20 years or more over this.
Only in America
@mstrsims2 Right. Like when great uncle George liked bouncing kids on his lap. Better not happen today.
@mstrsims2 It was. Learned a lot at Scout camp from other scouts.
Yeah, that's messed up...education isn't a bad thing. When I was these kid's ages I had a lot of questions. Going to Catholic school, I wasn't going to get any answers.
Luckily, the older boys told me what's up.
It's a weird time, and kids need answers.
No
I had delayed puberty. Which explains a few things
Me too !
Gee whiz till this film i thought the sticky stiff was glue, so i save mine in jars and sell it at county fairs. Thanks for educating me coach !
When does the part where they do the sleepover at the coach's house?
That scenario is a YOU problem, not this movie's problem.
Putting all the social issues aside, I wonder if a film like this made today with the identical purpose and script would still say 'fourteen or fifteen years old' for the age that the boys' bodies are changing? Has the age of puberty changed measurably in 50-60 years?
I'm 32 still waiting for a wetdream lol, I just have weird nightmares.
Nocturnal emission coach.
Man I live in Texas.... I'm probably already canceled..... just my opinion
LOL.. The curriculum has changed a bit.
But I'm different..I'm an American teenager..I like to mix Wet Dreams,Genetics and jesus

Sad reality is if this is a 1950s film,... most of those kids are dead. Probably killed in Vietnam. They would have been in the age group.
I Hope Not .... Mickey was Cute!
All we got was the teacher saying, "Boys, you will become men and your life will be hell. You'll know if you've won by dying by some means other than your own hands. Good Luck.".
Calling a kid "Mickey" "Mouse" today would be considered bullying.
Hopefully the little kid got even by putting itching powder in the other kid's jockstrap.
No one would know what that meant
This film stopped at the "good part"! Aren't we past that issue after 70 years?
Ron Levine the establishment even more so these days wants to make people feel guilty for enjoying the depiction of fully nude people and the totally natural sex act. That is why you never will see it on TV or in magazines on sale.Even the pretty card girls at race meeting and boxing matches have been stopped from appearing. Again it's another form of unnecessary censorship that governments take delight in imposing .They don't want people to enjoy themselves gives them more power.Pathetic isn't it.
When i went through puberty i developed mega phallus condition. I was in a Christian school and had to have shirt tucked in etc and i wouldn't do it because my wang showed to much so i had to be removed and put in a public school.
Don't you mean Dong?
I thing obviously@@jamesalexander5623
that ended abruptly .. just as it was getting good lol
"Not every time, though". Damn it, that kid at the end had first hand knowledge!
Jim is doing sprints ? 😮
"But not every time though."
"What do you mean?"
"Well....."
and the video ends. Someone decided that whatever followed was too much to put on RUclips. Seems like even today, 70+ years later, we're still shy and prudish about basic normal sex stuff. It could be uttered in 1950-whatever, but not in 2015. Pretty sad.
"Sperm?"
" yea its a sort of sticky stuff".
And it's a bitch to get out of your Hair!
Taste good ❤
this was so educational 🧚♀️
Give me a like if you saw a single black boy in that team. 😀
He would have put even Coach to Shame!
Damn… Bill is in ALL these films. 🙄
When I was a senior in high school (1976), my gym coach would bring a metal chair in to the shower room, presumably to see for himself that we were all taking showers, which he insisted we all do. Two years later, I saw him in a gay club. West Babylon, where men are men. And little boys are nervous.
and what were you doing in that gay club buddy....did you hook up with your coach after that encounter? xD
@@wewenang5167 oh God no, I would have laughed if he asked me to dance!
Same for me early 90s
"sperm....what's that?" ........ "you know, the guys part of the baby." LOL
The irony is that those kids are from the "Boys Clubs of San Francisco ."
Why did you cut the video off at 8 minute mark? Thumb down!
" no, sperm is something else" .
3:50 what a f*cking creepy thing to say to anyone, lol.

My sister gave me the talk. So did my aunt. So did my cousin. They were really more interactive demos, but I understood better each time.
Interactive demos? Hmm, I'd have to think about that.
Poor coach would lose his job nowadays.

This is called As Boys Grow. It's a sex education film from the late 1950's.

This film said, " That's enough out of you Bill".
Is this real?
DeSantis of Florida would ban this film.
And Biden would have the boys sit on his lap
Y should they ban It, this Is sex educantion now a daze it's worse.
DeSantis should ban you. What's the problem? Did Mommy put your emotional support stuffed unicorn in the washer?
@@neomastino did you see him inhale that little baby boy in Ireland? What a paydo.

Good luck getting into it then, ya 'available maid'.

Coach is grooming them all at the same time. Very efficient.
"Grooming" them? For what? To be less sexually uptight adults? Sound pretty healthy to me.
