The corrin mural thing is especially interesting when you consider that female corrin is also the default in FE warriors, while robin is male by default in the same game. It feels like we're being told that female corrin is actually the canon corrin
Both of the characters canonical genders are true and as follow, Robin ( male ) and corrin ( female ), bonus fun fact about corrin people may not know is she is a descendant of Robin. The Fire Emblem universe sure is vast and interesting and I'm glad Sakurai keeps up with it all not to mention all other series, it really shows just how much he cares!
@@ZAM0S Corrin is the ancestor, not descendant, of Robin. Nohr and Hoshido are stated to be kingdoms from fairytales by Chrom in the Before Awakening DLC.
Just a qoute on the Classic mode mural. Sakurai: “Thank you very much! I think Greninja's up special too. Any up specials that can be angled in any direction have this, I believe, except for teleports. Or ones that only have set angles, like Ridley's (since it would be kind of pointless.)
It could also be that canonically, the angel boys use arrows of light/darkness, meaning they don't have a proper physical property (referenced in Palutena's Guidance for Snake, Palutena says bombs can't be attached to them because they're not actual arrows)
@@sometffurry I know that, but considering dream has 13 million subs and in dream's latest manhunt he mlg ladder'd (which was my first time seeing that), it's reasonable to assume that he watched dreams latest manhunt. Also he was rude for no reason.

5:05 the game is probably using Float value math. Float values are wonky for getting the same numbers sometimes because they round numbers in weird ways. If they programmed the total damage and single hit damage with two different formulas, then the float value of 31.4x1 is probably somehow counting the 1 as 1.0001 or some similar value that caused it to round up at the end. It may also be doing that to the 31.4 too.
Aw rip. I've left three facts and he hadn't gone over them yet. I hope he doesn't miss them. (Look at the right wall inside the house in the winter transformation of pokemon stadium 2. It's a kitty)
the reason why female corrin is on the banner and not male corrin is (maybe/probably) because female corrin is the canon gender for the avatar in fates (always find it weird that Fcorrin wasn't the default in smash too)
8:50 In spin-off games like Fire Emblem Warriors, female Corrin is the default one chosen, and it’s implied that she may be the “canon” avatar, like how male Robin is implied to be the “canon” avatar in Awakening. It could a preference thing, but it could also be something specifically chosen to be that way.
6:18 I feel like the problem with the differing recovery of ness and lucas boils down to their projectile speeds.I feel like lucas's projectile moves at a slower rate than ness's so it cause the projectile to hit at a slightly different angle when you try to recover in the tightest circle possible.

9:50 Sakarai pointed this out himself in a post leading up to Smash WiiU, where the feature was added. (The platform lights). Also, another fun fact. In previous smash games you got 2 seconds of invincibility after jumping off nomatter how long you wait on the Revival Platform, but in Ultimate the game punishes you for stalling on it and reduces how much invincibility you get down to 1 second.
@Rando Yes, it's why even at top level play in Melee, Brawl and Smash 4 you see people stall on the Revival Platform by waiting for it to run itself out, but in Ultimate top level players generally don't stay the whole 5 seconds. Since it's actually something competitive players take into consideration, it's even mentioned on the Smash Wiki. Though I have notice the Smash Wiki is wrong about at least 1 thing. It's says there's no difference between Hazard Zones and Lava between Smash 4 and Ultimate, but there's actually a huge difference. In Smash 4 you could tech Lava, which prevented the Insta KO effect in The Great Cave Offensive. In Ultimate you can't, so there's no saving yourself.

7:20 Perhaps it's because Bayonetta's FS saps the momentum from Inkling? Like, Inkling's recovery appears to have a period of forced-propulsion before it cuts off & leaves her in 'freefall', but allows her to keep hurtling in that direction. It seems to me, that during the FS, once the propulsion period ends, Inkling's momentum either doesn't carry over or isn't as effective. If this is the case, it'd likely be a bug or oversight on the devs' part. There is probably a way you can test this... my brain isn't in the mood to figure out how.
something people somehow don’t realize: rob’s side special only moves you forward if you still have the stick to the side. plus, rob stops turning to the side, looking similar to his down smash. you can even move backward while doing it!
Maybe Inkling's up special won't go as far kind of like why Belmont's side-b won't go as far when going through switches (like on that popular custom stage the switch zone). It could, instead of measuring distance before stopping Inkling's ascent, be measuring time that it's been out. This may only happen with Bayonetta's FS because maybe time-slow normally has some multiplier in place to make sure moves like that go their full distance, so it takes more real time before they end, but when coding Bayo's, they forgot to add that multiplier.
I think the reason pits arrows have trouble destroying the bomb blocks is because there properties are probably different to everyone’s arrows since you can tilt the arrows for a short period after you release them
Something I just remembered that’s similar to the arrow on Ness’ Up-B is that there will be a faint blue arrow when someone gets hit. The blue arrow points in the direction of where the character will be launched, which can help for following up for combos. It’s easiest to see with freeze-frame moves like Falcon Punch.
When Pikachu does his up special, the same red arrow that shows where Ness and Lucas will go also appears for Pikachu, and does it for the separate quick attack angles
my random smash fact ive never seen anyone mention: pichu has 1 frame of pure invincibility on her thunder(down b) ONLY WHEN GROUNDED it's only helped me once ever because the timing is specific and very few scenarios strength past the huge thunder hitbox around u anyways but its legit lmao
I believe the thing with stale PK Thunder Stale stuff is that there is a 0.1 attack at the very start of the active hit box that collides with the actual hit box, the 31.4 one and they hit the opponent at the very same time which is why the combo counter doesn’t go up. Or something else. Idk.
Fun float fact (5:08): 30 × 1.05 = 31.499998. (This is due to how computers store floating point impressively.) I suspect the scale is done in 32 bit floats, and one of those displays is rounding to the decimal while one is truncating.
For the famale Corrin thing, it might have something to do with Fire Emblem warriors. In that game, the use male Robin and female Corrin for the story mode, with female Robin and male Corrin being unlockable costumes.
Small idea, I think that you should show the first thing in the thumbnail after you finish the intro! I just think of this because I don’t really like watching a video and not getting what I saw straight away, but you still show what you put in the thumbnail, so keep it up!

Basically Steve gets a lot of damage and knockback from the TNT while Ness gets to heal from the TNT Edit: I figured this out the hard way :(
The Ness And Lucas PK Thunder Glitch I can actually explain, the AI for both Lucas and Ness cannot tell the difference for how fast the game is going so they always decide to recover as if the game was at 1x speed, if you go into Custom Smash and enter fast or slow smash they will do the same thing, and along with them having speed mode glitches, so do Duck Hunt and Luigi, in fast mode Luigis grab gets shortened and Duck Hunts f smash does more damage
The Respawn Platform changes color because Sakurai Explained Way back in the Everyone us here Trailer that two ways to Punish Stalling enemies were that. Continuous dodging would give you less invincibility frames and the more time you're on the Respawn Platform the Less Invincibility frames you get.
Visual glitch: In the punch out stage, If you charge little Mac neutral B on the "Springs" on the egdes of the boxing ring, Just before you started to charge the attack, the attack Will not have any "aura"
Fun fact: You can spike with a bomb-omb (works best with Mario against bowser), all you have to do is grab a bomb-omb, footstool your opponent, throw it up into the air and preform an up-smash. About the multi-hit smash attacks, those will have to be timed. But, have fun with this trick!
I noticed something about the pit and dark pit arrows. It seems when he had a problem hitting the bomb block, it's because the arrow disappeared before hitting it. So I guess it's a reference to the fact that it's not actually an arrow and actually something else like mabey light.(not sure what the arrows are made of because I haven't played any games with them to get that info). Still interesting to see it in smash.
If I had to guess, the reason why the final smashes showed in the vid freeze the stage is because when activated, the final smashes briefly get rid of stage hazards, even if they had been there for the beginning of the match

Continuous dodging would give you less invincibility frames and the more time you're on the Respawn Platform the Less Invincibility frames you get.
If you use a slow motion timer item on the really bad Mario Bros map the crabs and turtles will slow down when the item is used.
Not sure if this is well known but I realized that characters do a little cheer after using an assist trophy
Visual glitch: In the punch out stage, If you charge little Mac neutral B on the "Springs" on the egdes of the boxing ring, Just before you started to charge the attack, the attack Will not have any "aura"
And also jiggly Sing too
It is after, not before, I messed up. So just Mash the attack
Does slowing down time make pits arrow have more control or make it last longer?
Its all fun and games until ROB starts spinning towards you at Mach 20.
Bayonetta's demons really HATE Inklings
I noticed something about the pit and dark pit arrows. It seems when he had a problem hitting the bomb block, it's because the arrow disappeared before hitting it. So I guess it's a reference to the fact that it's not actually an arrow and actually something else like mabey light.(not sure what the arrows are made of because I haven't played any games with them to get that info). Still interesting to see it in smash.
"Speaking of knowing things"
I just can't anymore, first the speaking about smash bros and now this, what next, "speaking about videogames"? Lol
If I had to guess, the reason why the final smashes showed in the vid freeze the stage is because when activated, the final smashes briefly get rid of stage hazards, even if they had been there for the beginning of the match
The aerial snooze is pretty common knowledge since it's just very noticable that it's a shorter duration
that pit down taunt mind blown*
Female Corrin is actually canon in fates just like male robin is canon in awakening. I think that’s why she’s on the mural in classic mode
So why isn't she canon also in the character select screen?
@@stefano2884 hell if I know. Maybe the artist who did the mural knows she’s canon did the mural, but they had someone who didn’t know do the menu?
