8:33 Can you tell me how you can avoid feeling uncomfortable in this situation? I mean you stand there for minutes and photograph a stranger like a hundred times. I could not do it. I would feel uncomfortable, nervous and strange. How do you do that? And how does the person being photographed see it? Or do you ask him before?
In those situations where I'm standing still, usually I'll ask or make myself known and see their reaction. If they're happy for me to take a photo I'll do it, but if they give me a negative reaction then I won't take a photo. Street photography is a lot to do with being confident in yourself and having to accept that you may come across a negative reaction at some point. Luckily I've yet to have a confrontation whilst I've been out shooting but if that day comes, I'd be honest and tell them what I'm doing. If they ask me to delete the photo, I will.

what month are you there and are you shooting in a priority mode?
I went in November 2023. I switch from Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority and Manual depending on the conditions/how I feel.
