@@BudgetPedalChap Glad you trusted me :) hey man, could you recommend a good univibe? As i only want to play one song's solo ( "Wait til tomorrow" by the JM Trio), I want to see if there's a good alternative to the dunlop or mxr univibes :) thank you in advance :)
@@anexiole my go to is the Moen shaky Jimi. It's not wholly authentic sounding but it's good enough and it's cheap. I've heard some good things about the Mosky vibe,I think it's called the ch:vibe but I've never tried it myself.
Bit of an odd one this pedal. Mayer has never used a BB and Klon at the same time. It’s always one of these two into a TS. Now stick a TS after this and you have a whole load of Mayer options on tap. Great vid.
yep but this pedal does give the best of all of mayer's albums from the Trio, Live in LA, Continuum (bluesbreaker side) to his post continuum stuff (klon) :)
@@ac30helix44 yes, you're right. That's why I have a nice JHS bonsai that's ready to be gain stacked from either a KLON clone (in my case , a nice Cornerstone Gladio DUAL) or a Marshall BluesBreaker :)
Yeah, with the individual pedals, it doesn't compress a whole lot so your dynamics are retained. When you stack, it gets a bit more compressed, as you'd expect. It's aimed at that John Mayer tone, so it encourages that kind of dynamic playing for sure 👍
Hard to argue with this one, both sides sounded great, I love a BB style pedal and this did the thing.
It sure did do the thing
Yeah, I'm a big fan of that one. The two sides pair really well
That they do, they've done a decent job with this one
Cracking demo as usual 👏🏻
Cheers chap, thanks for letting me try this one out. I have a feeling these will fly off the shelves 👍

I'm waiting for my "83" and Gravity to arrive.
Oooh, let me know when you get them. I think you'll really enjoy them 👍
Man am I disappointed. I also got the gravity. It tobme sounds a little better...don't waste the money on these.
@@leehenderson8132 oh man I'm sorry to hear that. What was it that you didn't like about them?

They do the other Nordvang which has the TS10, so you could run both of these and have klon into bb into ts for full Mayer mastery 😂😂😂

@@anexiole nice bro, I have gone the other way with a Gravity and separate BB.
Sounds good Chappie
Aye, it does a tone doesn't it?
Sounds killer...thanks
Cheers for joining in on the live chat gent 👍 it's a really nice tone to it
The funny thing is that assuming the Klon side is the same in both this and the Gravity, I much prefer the "Gravity Klon"
They don't go on record anywhere but they have exactly the same feature set, maybe they are two different klons though. That'd be crazy huh?
Gravity or 83?
@@sapiensalmanac very good question. I think I'd go for the gravity, but they both blew me away 👍
Im stuck between the 83 and the gravity, so which klon side is better?

How’s the build quality? Does it seem sturdy? Sounds great 👍
@@misterknightowlandco yeah, seems fine to me. It does sound great huh?
@@BudgetPedalChap it really does.
Impressive!
Ain't it just 👍
Hi, I just got this pedal and the volume output for the BB side seems to be much lower than the Klon side when dialed at the same position.
I can't remember it being the case, but the original blues breaker circuit is notorious for being really quiet on the output.
@@BudgetPedalChap I see thank you! Im really enjoying this pedal atm but the output was bugging me a little bit.
