That's a pretty cool tent, even has the skylight so you can see outside!!! It's like a palace compared to my cold little tipi tent 😂. Such a trooper, hiked around for 3 hours to look for a site in the winter. I would have just gave up and picked any random spot big enough to set up my tent 😅 And nice fish catches, made hauling the ice fishing gear worth it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@PatWanders I found that having a fire beside a tarp in a windshed wedge configuration is pretty good for warmth retention (and it is light), the tarp reflects and holds in a surprising amount of warmth.
Wow, this looks like such an incredible adventure! The snowy scenery is absolutely stunning, and camping out in those conditions must have been such a rewarding challenge. That frozen lake is breathtaking, and the trout fishing looked like so much fun! Definitely inspiring me to plan a winter camping trip of my own. 🙌❄🎣
Yes it is titanium!. I've used it 4 times so far and there are no signs of leaking. You can find a link to the wood stove in the description! Thanks for watching :)
Can you share your route? How were the portages? I’ve gone on a few and pulling the sled on some portages is extra challenging in the winter if there’s boardwalks or narrow trails
Love this
nice hot tent! its different from the usual tipi style hot tents. cozy video
A pretty adventurous first winter trip. Great that you only had to wake up once to restoke the stove. Hope you have many more trips
Appreciate that, I'm looking forward to my next trip already!

@@DerekSOutdoors I camped with comfort but I had to pay the price with how heavy my sled was 😭😭

Bringing gyozas was a crazy good move
Right?! Gyozas hit the spot after a long day out in the cold. Warm, easy to cook, and so satisfying - definitely bringing them again on more trips!
Here before this goes viral 😍
MVP for being here early! Appreciate you watching! 🙌
