You posted this just at the right time. Mine broke yesterday right where you said it does after about 6-7,000 rounds. Press is less than a month old. I will definitely be making this adjustment on the replacement rod. Thank you!
I'm finding it feels like either the rod itself isn't strong enough to push the primer slide all the way back, or the spring is too strong. Every time I have to manually grab the end of the priming slide bar and pull it that last little bit. Not too sure how to solve that.
Good video, Im still trying to dial in my 750... I keep getting a missed primer in mine, about 1 in 5 when it gets low, and one in 10 when full... You guys ever experience this? I tried the "look down the tube and align the back stop screw" and the best I can get is the above 1 in ten failure. Looks like the cup is not centered to the tube, you guys ever see that? Thx.
@@PracticallySquared1 I’m not sure what you are referring to by the ‘case spring.’ But the op rod does not push it back far enough to release a primer. I have to pull the slide back further manually. When I do, it feels like there is some added resistance . I thought it was dirt or powder that had been lodged back there. I took it apart, but no dice. The machine is brand new, less than 400 rounds loaded on it.
I figured it out! The Op Rod bracket came from the factory at 6” instead of 5 5/8”. I adjusted the bracket and just ran 100 rounds issue free! (As a point of reference I don’t think I had ever made it past 10 rounds without an issue)
Could be any number of things. Your tube might not be aligned properly, your actuating rod might not be set properly, or maybe your follower needs weight added to it.
There are lots of problems with the priming system they really let me down I'm very disappointed with all the failures to feed the primes drives me insane the square d prime system worked better
One thing I didn't quite say is that if you set it to 5&5/8" its pretty much on that bend. I think the measurement depends on your rod. I suspect some rods have the bend in slightly different spots or they have changed the dimension.

Dillon will take care of you. Glad I could help. Let me know how it turns out.
Good info. I had heard that some of the first released units had the issue exactly as you described.
Excellent and helpful information, Thank you.
Good info. Probably will help a bunch of people.
Great video, thank you. Really good information..
Mine broke tonight, lasted 9K rounds. Bought the press in June of 2020.
Dillon will take care of you. Make sure you adjust the new one.

I’m having that same issue. I tried messing with the rear travel set screw, but that’s not working. Did you ever find a fix?
Is your case spring pushing in on the case? Check that first then check that the actuation rod is allowing the primer bar to go back enough.

Sweet. That's what I figured. I meant op rod when I said actuation. My bad
Question? im having problem with my primers drop into feeder

thank you much
Dude mine totally broke at 25k. Lol called you out in my video coming soon.
Called me out in a good or bad way lol
Keystone Mountain Outdoors always good brother. It was funny mine broke after watching your vid.
I use a 550 sins 1993 and that rod never broke so I think its strange .
Its a little modified on the 750 due to the size of the shell plate. If its properly adjusted (as shown) it won't be an issue on this either.

Got a friend here that had that happened to him. If you call Dillon they’ll replace it for free
Your intro is the same as 76Highboys on his videos ?
We had it done by the same person. If you look back i started using it before him i belive.
@@PracticallySquared1 It looks like you started using yours about 2 years ago and his is well over three, no biggy just something I noticed.
I deleted a bunch of old videos that had it. Plus I wasn't aware of his channel till recently. But thanks for checking on it.
@@PracticallySquared1 Its all good man.
AAAAaaaand mine broke today... After 25k rounds.... :-( Since I'm Brazil it will take some time to get a new one...
Why is Dillon hiding such important information inside of the Manual ?
😂😆😂😆😂😆
