I love the scenes with the Glukkons arguing amongst each other. Their voice acting was on point, even by todays standards. Especially the Soulstorm Boardroom arguement: Phleg: I HATE THAT ABE GUY!! Dripik: Mullocks a-gonna be pissed! First Rupturefarms, now Necrum Mines... If he ever comes back, a-we're screwed! Aslik: Where you two see problems, I see OPPORTUNITY! Now it's MINE... OUR turn to takeover! Dripik: SCREW YOU ASLIK! YOU AIN'T RUNNING NAHTHIN!! Aslik: Now now gentlegluks. Let's not argue over who gets whaaaaaaat... Phleg: HEY!! I GOT A CAREER TO CONSIDER!! WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO ABOUT IT, HUH?! WHAAAAAT?! Dripik: I dunno, err panic? Aslik: NO YOU IDIOTS!!! I was 6 years old playing this on PS1. I thought this was super creepy, scary, sad and I felt so much emotions playing this game. Of course It also made me laugh allot ^^. My point is this retro game don't get enough love these days and it saddens me because Oddworld really created a little piece art art as both a game and a story. They had allot of smash hits after this to but still I feel they need more love
I agree with you. Oddworld Inhabitants do need more loves for their games. Because they might be working on the next game since they finished making Soulstorm

is 8:36 Phleg? because 10:23 his voice sounds different and it doesn't seem like Phleg would be doing that job out in the desert. I always assume both are Phleg, but I've been told by others that they just re-used his model for the desert recruiter glukkon. The voices do sound different if you compare. In my mind it is Phleg, though.
It is far fetched that someone like Phlegg would be out there doing such a small job, but I always felt it probably was Phlegg to reinforce his direct role in mud subjugation to the viewer
Recently I read that apparently the devs confirmed it is not Phleg, hence the voice sounding different, though it didn't faze that much since they all sound like Dripik in game. Maybe they made the cutscene before Phleg became an important character and couldn't change it to a pud, but one can only guess. Knowing this, I think it would've been cool had it been the Brewmaster himself touting his wares, so we get to see him much earlier. Though that isn't perfect, I just love him and can't get enough. Quoting pupbenny, he seems like the kinda glukkon to stay cooped up in the basement working instead of going outside.

Because the creators wanted the sequel to be much darker then the first one, but they had no time. So when the series got rebooted, they finally got the chance to tell the sequel they wanted.
I'm playing soulstorm now, I dunno why they chose to go from Exoddus, their greatest creation and turn it into what they did. The storytelling is good but everything else is awful.
