- and Gayatri sing a composition of Purandaradasa (set to Raga Arabhi, Adi Tala) and offer this on the occasion of Deepavali. This breezy song taken from the Navaratnamalika set of krithis, describes the Kalinga Narthana of Krishna. RaGa are joined by Sai Giridhar on the Mridangam and Nandini Sai Giridhar on Tambura and is shot in their home's Roof Garden.

It’s cute how they say 'ಮುದ್ದಾಡಿಶಿ' instead of ‘ಮುದ್ದಾಡಿಸಿ' in the Neraval. Reminds me of the rural style Kannada our grandmothers spoke.

Tamilians, particularly Brahmins, take the sound of 'shi' for 'si'. Not just singers even others!! Don't know why. A style?! Muddadi'si'' when pronounced muddadi'shi' does not sound nice.

I don't know what I feel . Definitely sounds indecisive . But yes , arabhi on the loop makes all dreams come true . The swarams bursting forth like fire crackers , oh all that is just beautifully insane . Why ? Because it's the magic of RaGa . As they sit , like two poised goddesses, on the golden dias , the magic begins with the momentary arabhi as it finishes , I felt that the magic vanishes , and lo ! Another magic in an other ragam starts . The splendid craze of swarams makes me go crazy . How diligently they weave and carve the swarams like inscriptions found by a great historian !! That's the ultimate thing they do . Oh ! I just can't wait to see you and meet you in person this year. When i experience the magic and wizardry live , I should be in ecstasy . That's how I am everytime . Seems endless and so is the love for your music endless . Love you lots RaGa mams. Eager to see you both live . Definitely Im there this time . 💕
