I rest assured that I didn’t just come up with a random narrative about Kobe being underrated or under appreciated, there’s ppl in the comments even proving my point

Kobe was 2-2 as "The Man", aka "Him", on Finals teams, shot 41% & 31% from 3 in his Finals career, even though most of them he got to play on Easy Mode next to the most dominant Superstar any NBA great ever got to play next to in Shaq, then snitched on Shaq & killed a dynasty by being selfish and is the reason they lost to Detroit, AND STILL has the All-Time record for Most Bricks ever even though he shot fewer shots than other stars to start his career. Kobe QUIT by HALFTIME in a Game 7 vs the Suns, then asked to be traded to the Suns or defending champion Spurs so he would've been KD before KD if he got his wish. Next to the LeBron Lames, the Kobestans are the most delusional fans whining about disrespect like teen girls begging for love & attention.

Nah, Kobe is not under-appreciated. It's just the league and all the sponsors has been having a dick sucking competition on Bron so they boast that well overboard and Kobe was left as a collateral damage. Kobe is a true legend and anyone watched his game will already remember him coming back from hell and winning all of us back.

He’s a only slightly above shooter for his generation, leads the league in TOs when he wasn’t even a passer, won so many defensive team selections yet you couldn’t tell if you looked at his stats, blew his team out in multiple playoffs.
There’s a reason he only won 1 MVP

You have to ask yourself: if you had one pick of any all time player in their prime, who would it be? Jordan, Lebron, Bird, Magic, Shaq, Kareem, Duncan, Hakeem, Curry, probably even Jokovic, not necessarily in that order. I would pick one of these before Kobe. Kobe might not be my top ten, but he is in my top 20.

When discussing Kobe‘s first three rings, it is a false statement that he was even in any reference Terri by SHAQ a matter fact, if you go back and watch those games, not just stats even though his stats were just as comparable as Kill🥜🍯🍪 he was the closer and most of those games, and he did most of the defensive work in those games against top-tier competition

Bruh. I have NEVER heard someone claim Kobe isn't top 10 all time. In fact, most people I know put him as #2. But never lower than #3. If someone were to say he's not top 10, all sports conversations end right there because they've just killed any credibility on their common sense and opinions

I don’t know man- to this old NBA fan, Kobe is OVER-appreciated.
if you want underappreciated at this time you can start with: Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Kareem, and Wilt. I think, among recent players, Chris Paul and Dirk Nowitzki are much more underappreciated than Kobe is. Constantly I’m hearing how great Kobe was- and he was great. But I think the other people I just mentioned were better.

Now, there is no denying that mj could float in air and was way more athletic than most basketball players, but apart from that, only kobe got close to mj skill with the ball. so... yeah.

@@blabla871That's an insult to Mike. Kobe looked Like Mike the most but he sure af wasn't that close. Kobe shot 41% & 31% from 3 in his Finals career even though he played most of them on Easy Mode next to the best & most dominant teammate any other Superstar ever got to play with. Kobe was only 2-2 as "The Man" aka "Him" on Finals teams, took fewer shots for years to start his career AND STILL has the All-Time record for Most Bricks ever. Besides athleticism, Kobe's hands were legit 2 inches smaller than Jordan's hand so Kobe literally could not do things with the ball that Jordan could. There's not a single skill Kobe could do better than Jordan.

Spelled, "overrated" wrong. Somehow, his fans think he's top 5 when the only stats he falls top 10 in is points and missed shots. No advanced stats or obscure random facts you dig up don't support him even being in the top 10. Name another player who was the best player on ONE of five championship teams getting goat considerations. I'll wait

@@HoodieVarii Truth Hurts. Google exists so there's zero excuse for ignorance, the internet can't erase it. Case can be made Kobe got all he got from his daddy being a Pro, being trained by Pros in Italy, completely copying Jordan's game when other Top 10 players had their own games and were unique. It's like Kobe was a Nepo-Baby with the blueprints to be successful, sort of like Curry who grew up on NBA courts asking Pros for help as the son of a sharp shooter specialist. Those 2 probably had the most advantages given to them to start a career compared most players and even 2nd generation players.
