I suppose that's what happens when a society and an education system values music and the wider arts. The rest of the world could learn a lot from Iceland.
Thank you! This was amazing please do more session breakdowns. it's really amazing to hear all of the textural things you do to your beats and the layers separated from the more pure melodic elements. such lovely sound design.
I love those videos! They are so interesting and informative. You developed such an original and recognizable sound without being repetitive or uninspired. Also your personality makes those Videos so comfortable to watch. Greetings from munich (saw you live in the Gasteig)❤
I so rarely comment on youtube videos but really have to say thanks for this. It’s such a privilege to see your creative process and gain insights into production techniques that turn an already good demo idea into a such a beautiful moving piece. Thank-you.
Fascinating breakdown, thanks for doing this. I'd love to see a breakdown of Woven Song if you're looking for ideas. Hopefully RUclips will notify me in time to catch the next one. Cheers
Thank you for this breakdown. It's so useful and interesting to see how you work and which decisions you make and why. I hope you planning to make a lot of these videos😊 Hope you come to Norway soon (when this Covid-19 situation is long gone)
Happy happy happy very useful tips.... I liked the idea of floating very very creative... ! The form of the song gives this idea and you succeed it! Nice!
Thanks for sharing all of this. Great atmosphere and inspiration. I would also like a mix without the in tha face drums/perc. Nothing wrong with the beat itself but I think it's putting the song with two feet on the ground harschly, contrasting just a little too much with the floating pad/synth atmosphere. Wonder what leaving that beat would do with the eloquence of the song...
Petition for a session breakdown of Loom :)
Amazing how Iceland is producing so many world class composers. And isn't the software amazing these days. Loved it.
