Lmfao 🤣 😂😢prayers for Florida in all seriousness. They are about to be absolutely devastated after this hurricane. Storm surge is going to be much higher so death toll could be worse the Helene and they still have even barely starting to even clean all that up and a little rebuild for easy roof fixes but everything else is still destroyed so hopefully people haven’t spent much money yet to rebuild and can just rebuild one time after this one. Let’s pray insurance companies only charge peoples one claim if they haven’t even began working on the house from Hellene damage but never know with insurancezz.

I don’t know I think this time Oregon wins this one. I’m usually cringing when we meet Ohio State but this time feels different. I hope I’m right. Josh - look at the big ten games crossing 2 time zones. It’s a coincidence the record is lopsided. All favored teams won, except for USC twice.
It would be sweet to see a version of the JP Poll with spreads against the #1 team to see how far off each team is and see where there are large gaps in talent

I think MSU giving a slight edge to Oregon on the DL makes sense - OSU’s best defensive lineman sat that game out. Iowa and Caleb Johnson found out all about him though.

that Georgia win means absolutely nothing. nothing. they are Georgia’s daddy and it was at Bryant Denny. that’s a routine win for them. losing to Vanderbilt is a complete cardinal sin in your first year coaching with a complete talent difference between rosters.
edit: just relooked at their schedule and if LSU wins this weekend they will be favored at home against Alabama and probably win that game. we’ll see how Tennessee does and at Oklahoma for what its worth can go either way. thats a potential 8-4. after this year they very much can fall off from top tier to 1.5 tier.

What papers are y'all looking at exactly that says TX should absolutely destroy OU? Cuz outlandish stats against these teams isn't really jumping off the screen!

This game is almost impossible to bet. If I had to though, I would take Oklahoma +14.5. Everyone and their mother is laying the points with Texas. Texas was a favorite last year too. Albeit, not by this many points. Still, Oklahoma won outright last year and while I would be surprised if Oklahoma won outright this year, I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Oklahoma loses by 14 points or less.

Ohio State / Oregon is going to be epic, in my opinion.
The stat line that calls out to me has nothing to do with either team - it’s the performance of BIG teams that has to travel multiple time zones. Will Howard will not be enough. Ducks take this one by 4 in a 28-24 fight.

Penn sate coming up short against Michigan is actually a huge misconception. At the end of the 2020 season Franklin was 3-4 against Michigan, typically winning the game when favored and losing when they weren't. In 2021 Michigan started cheating, and that season a top 6 Michigan team barely beat an unranked Penn state team on a last minute lucky big play to the TE.

I like your assessment of Colorado. They are dangerous team to bettors, hard to bet on them, scary to bet against.
I don't think OSU's OL is elite, but neither Michigan State nor Iowa's front 7 are something to laugh at. Arguably the best part of both teams.
$5 that both of Florida's first playcalls in each halve are runs up the gut for 2 yards via Montrell Johnson.
In regards to the UT/UF game, I really think Tennessee wins by 17-21 points. It’s such a rebound spot and as was mentioned the Vols run game will do well. The only catch is the Vols secondary but I think Tennessee finds more big plays than they have this year and cover. Either way I’m excited to be back home on Rocky top this weekend and contribute to one of the deadliest environments in CFB this week!
But UF will be prepared for the run game. UCF is great at uptempo run game and MSU a tempo team too (2 of UF’s last opponents). UF simplified D communication that hurt them vs. MSU. UF will be prepared for it. UT still wins but I don’t think by a 17-21 point margin

My prediction Ohio state gonna force and establish the run game first. Make Oregon be physical and try and win in the trenches and force them to load the box. Keeps Oregons offense on the side line, and Ohio states defense well rested.

I could be wrong but I don’t see an avenue for Oregon to expose anything on Ohio state. Maybe for a quarter or two, but Ohio state is so much better. It is college football.
